Yes, According to my knowledge, these two books are sufficient for clearing the ISI's Entrance exam. As one of the above two books is self prepared by ISI and is helpful for the students to get concept clearly.
For solving some basic problems of the pattern (which ISI follows for its entrance exam), you can go through first of the two books mentioned.
Hii aspirants
let me clear your doubt
Its dissappointing but there is no proper solution book of tomato.. Tst level for 10+2 mathematics published by isi.
And I will suggest you to solve this book by yourself if you want to crack this exam. Because behund every question there is a concept and so when you will able to solve the problems by yourselves it will establish your understanding of the fundamentals. and your chances to crack the exam will go up.
I hope my answer will be helpful for you
Good luck
hi,
see isi is one of the prestigious institute for pursuing b.state course. if you are a mathematics lover this is the best place for you. during form filling it need to mention that whether you are applying for b.state or b.math, however cutoff marks for b.state is lower than b.math. however you may find some difficulty if you have not statistics in 10+2 course. you need to buy a book which is test of mathematics of 10+2 level , this books is generally called TOMATO, which published by isi. here you may get the details idea of what type of questions asked in isi in b.state entrance test. give most importance in probability, set theory, number theory, combinatorics for b.state entrance preparation.

Hii
Make a study plan :-
During exam preparation, a study plan helps you study effectively and minimises the level of your stress. Before creating a study plan for yourself, you should find out everything that needs to be covered for the exam
Write short notes by your own :-
While you study for the ISI Admission Test, making short notes can prove to be beneficial for you. Highlight the key terms, formulas and concepts, and make sure that you understand them. Short and brief notes can help you retain more information for a longer period.
Practice more :-
To get a feel of the real entrance exam, you should start practising under exam conditions so that you can give your best on the exam
Dear student, to be very honest this isn't a good way to manage PCM. These 3 subjects require equal amount of dedication and most important consistency. If you are regular with them they won't disappoint you. You can divide equal slots in a single day for each subject or if it becomes hectic for you then the least you can do is to study 2 subjects in single day and alter the combination for next day and so on. In this way you won't forget the concepts and as Maths and Physics require more practice so if you leave them for 2 days then you have to start from reading the concepts then solving problems.
All the best
Hope this helps
Hello,

Hey there
ISI exam one of the toughest exam of india. Since it is concentrated to maths in b.stat so the difficulty level is of jee advanced level or more. The MCQ is not that tough but the subjective questions are really tough and since there is step wise marking you'll have to write the whole solution step wise which takes time. But if you are preparing for jee advanced then you'll definitely have chances for isi.
Good luck
