Manipur University, located in Imphal, was established on June 5, 1980. It became a Central University in 2005, playing a key role in promoting higher education in the northeastern region of India.
Manipur University has been accredited 'B+' Grade by NAAC and has 119 associated Colleges, including 2 Medical Colleges. A constituent college of the university, Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT) is housed inside the School of Engineering and has six departments. College Infrastructure
Our college infrastructure is top level. We have a huge central library and well-equipped labs for science & engineering departments. It has facilities for various sports. It also has a big auditorium and seminar halls.
