This university is meant for student who don't have time for attending college classes regularly. So when it comes to infrastructure my university don't have its own building. It is running in two floor of Biscoman Bhavan near Gandhi Maidan. Everything from classroom to offices, lab , library, etc is in these two floor. Since class is not held in this university so rather not to talk about classroom., labs, library. Classrooms are used only for conduction of exams.
This is open university . So classes are not held like regular colleges. Students have to read by themselves and appear in exams. Books are provided by university. Before the exams counselling classes are scheduled in which interested student can clarify their doubts if they have any. Exams are held very strict. No cheating at all. But they don't give marks as you expect even your exams went well.
Once again I will mention my university is open university so no placement happens here. Only you give exams take your degree and that's all. They don't give good marks and many student fails . So those failed student have to appear in compartmental exams which are held soon after the exams result are announced.
Fee is not very high. About 2500 for boys and there is relaxation in fee for girls student.
Since it is a open university so students meets only during the cancelling classes oe exams. So college activities are very very limited. Many staff over here are very rude and they don't even listen to your problems. Some staffs are very polite any help student in every possible way. Location of college is good. Hotels , parks, police station, etc are near college. So it safe for students. Yes it can handle emergencies.
At last I will say if you really don't have time for regular college then only you go for Nalanda Open University. Because you will miss a lot what a regular college be like such as fun with friends, classroom with teachers, various activities, programs, etc. None of above mentioned thing you will get in this university. I had my own reasons to join this university .
All the class room are having enough fans and space to sit comfortably. Secondly it's washroom is so bad that if someone has to go urgently he/she will think twice or thrice before they use. Even their Washrooms are not having windows. Do not enough space to stand while examination time.
It is good because all the books has to be finished by the students because it is open. So their academic is good. Only the problem is their strategy of giving marks. They(teachers) don't give as much marks compare to other college's students even writing enough answer for the question. And in result we get very low marks than others and resultant we(students) gets adverse effect in job interview.
My college do not conduct placement because it is a open University. Or may be for other courses they do but till now i have not seen such activities in my university. So even they are conducting placements, i am sure that selection of the students are very low.
It is only good because we only pay for their extra activities other then study. Since it is a open University, the classes are not happening every day so all the money they have to use for their maintenance and that also is not good.
First of all my university doesn't have campus. But yes location is absolute best. The problem is with the staffs over there. They all talk like they don't have time to talk to their own college students. Their behaviour is very rude.
Only one thing to add, that is start conducting online exam otherwise again we will going to lose one more academic year like last year. 3rd, the final year students going to complete 4 year in the university and they haven't appeared in their final exam. So please start conducting online exam.
All facilities is available for arts students. I think library facilities is not update accordingly to time . Wi fi facilities is not there . All the place of campus is quite appreciable .I am happy with this staff
I am studying here because I don't want to spend to much time in college.i am aspirants of upsc so I focus on coaching. All exam is held According to given date in prospects. My session Students is so happy with this session
No idea about this matter . Because I have never attend any program. So I am unable to give u any correct data about this matter.i have listen one thing that after studying here u got good job . It is best for those students who want from distance.
It is one of the best place for poor students who want to pursue any course because it provides any course in reasonable fees which is quite well . Best quality of this university is that it gives results at time
Better than private colleges. I think it is best place according to Fee. It have all the things which can satisfy any poor students . It is quite good .staff is not up to date . They are not responsible for any work
According to me plz give concession on copy checking . The teachers of this university check copy very hard .it is so tough for middle class students to pass final year examination. Everything is well .but plz give concession on copy checking
