A 5.5-year undergraduate programme in ayurvedic medicine and surgery called BAMS is based on the Indian traditional medical system of Ayurveda. It covers a wide range of subjects, including contemporary anatomy, medical concepts, botany-based surgical ideas, and many more.
After completing Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, those interested in a career in medicine can enrol in the BAMS programme. Candidates for the BAMS programme must have completed the NEET exam with a minimum qualifying cutoff percentile. Following NEET, BAMS aspirants would receive an invitation from a central counselling office to select a college based on their results.
