Eligibility Criteria

1. has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.

2. has passed 10+2 examination

3. should be a student of BE/BTech programme of a recognized Institute/University

4. has qualified TIET Entrance Test.

5. should be a citizen of India.

6. should bear a good character and satisfy the prescribed requirements of the Institute.

Admission Details

70% of the total BE/BTech seats shall be filled on the basis of the percentile-based merit of JEE Main.

30% of the total BE/BTech seats shall be filled on the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination

College Infrastructure

Really good infrastructure. Newly built and renovated buildings. Good labs along with Ac. Hostels are really good, well built and with AC. Food is amazing as well. Canteens are good. Almost everything is connected online.

College Infrastructure

Thapar provides amazing facilities to students. It has all the infrastructure that is needed for the development of the student. It has amazing labs with all the equipments in it the hostel and the campus is lush green and it is very hygienic. It also provides many sports facilities to students it has facilities for all kind of sports. The campus also has high speed wifi all over it

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is great.New buildings have come up recently and it looks like an altogether different University.The new library is great.The integration of technology into the old library culture has taken the whole process to the next level.
