The university has boys hostels for accommodation of the students. It offers a home live environment to the students. The rooms of boys hostels are well furnished and have all the basic facilities. 

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has separate hostels for girls students. Girls hostels have spacious and well furnished rooms for the students. For the convenience and to provide comfortable stay to the students, all the basic facilities are available at the campus.
