infrastructure is pretty . The classrooms are equipped with what we need, and the library and computer labs are useful. The hostels are decent, though they could definitely use some improvements in maintenance. Overall, the campus has what we need.
My personal experience about my college is , college need more improvement in somethings, they are giving their best actually maintenance need to improve for every action and activities they have to balance.
Infrastructure of the college is very good. Nice classrooms. There is a good library for studying. Food is also good. They are charging per year for a four-seater room without food is little high.. Prices have increased.
Hello,
At Vels University, the hostel fees for girls vary based on the type of room and the amenities provided. For a room shared by four students, the approximate annual hostel fee is around INR 70,000 to INR 90,000, which generally includes basic amenities such as accommodation, food (mess charges), and maintenance.
However, these fees may vary based on additional preferences like air-conditioned or non-air-conditioned rooms, special facilities, or the specific hostel block. For precise and up-to-date details, it is recommended to contact the university's hostel office directly or check their official website.
Hope it helps !

Vels institute of science and technology is a private college established in year 1992. It is also located in Chennai and offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral courses.
The first year fees is around 2 Lakh INR. The placement records are decent and you will experience an average college life.
I will suggest you to go for Dr. MGR institute as it is a old college. It is also a private college but fees is very decent for the courses it offers.
As you are interested in B.Tech with Artificial Intelligence. It is available with computer science branch. The AI/ML branch is more focused machine learning and it's techniques while AI/DS is more focused on Data Science. Data science is somewhat more vast than machine learning as you will have statistics in depth on your mathematics syllabus. It is the branch for those interested to become a data scientist in future.
While Machine Learning involved one to understand many algorithms available inthe market. In this field, the mathematics do not have as much statistics as DS but logic building courses are included for understanding the algorithms.
I suggest you to go for one, which interest you more either statistics (DS) or algorithms (ML).
Thank you?
