Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time course. Offered by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata approved by AICTE. The Diploma Holders in Engineering/ Technology on the basis of merit position in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) are eligible for admission in the 3rd semester (2nd year) of B.Tech course to the maximum limit of 20% of the approved intake in each course.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission in the four-year B.Tech degree courses are required to pass Higher Secondary (10 + 2) or equivalent examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized Board or University conforming to norms stipulated by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.
10% students will be admitted under management quota as per directives of State Government.
Diploma Holders in Engineering/ Technology on the basis of merit position in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) are eligible for admission in the 3rd semester (2nd year) of B.Tech course to the maximum limit of 20% of the approved intake in each course.
Candidate should satisfy the stipulated standard of physical fitness with good mental and physical health.

Admission Details

In all the B.Tech courses students will be admitted on the basis of merit position in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State(West Bengal) and All India Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). 10% students will be admitted under management quota as per directives of State Government.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure overall is good but needs to be better specially the laboratory for our mechanical department. Classrooms fits the academic requirement. Library is good. Playground is big. Basketball ground makes the campus beautiful.

College Infrastructure

Best condition classrooms, the best libraries facilities with NPTEL lecture in e-library section, good football and basketball ground, canteen facility inside college premises, girls and boys hostel are available, free Wi-Fi facilities, good architectural designs of the college buildings.

Our college has an area of about 11 acres with 61 classroom ,well equipped IT and core engineering laboratories , centrally air-conditioned auditorium .It also has a central library which a student to issue enough books required for a academic year .There is a xerox centers in the library .There we can get any stationary .
