The cost of my course is 3lakhs per year and i really feel that i am getting the knowledge for the money I paid, it's completely worth for the money I pay because of teaching pattern and ideas they provide us and they develop our imagination.
About the college campus, its best college with all the facilities a student required, a good canteen, Wi-Fi network, shuttle buses for travelling inside, a good and well maintained ground for playing, it also has a swimming pool. Students can engage in all extra curricular activities. Students and teachers are like in relationship of best friends. Its located at a good location (in a village). The College has a serene environment. It's filled greenery and peace. The campus offers free wifi fecilities throughout the campus from morning to 12 in the night. The campus has an amazing library facility with tons of amazing books.
Curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The faculty is amazing and is always supporting in times of need. All the faculty are PhD holders and thereby give us knowledge on anything and everything.
The campus placement at Amrita has always been excellent. There are more than 100 top companies vising the campus every academic year and offerings freshers very good positions. 99 percent of the students get placed every year.
I would say the value for money is average. Since the classes have been happening online, there are much campus facilities that we are able to avail, so I feel the fees is pretty high. But, if it's during offline it's worth every penny.
Amrita has a credit-based course curriculum, and assignments, seminars, presentations, practicals, and viva voce are part of daily life on the campus. This system helps inculcate a sense of responsibility among students.A certain percentage of attendance is mandatory in order to write the examinations in all courses.
None.
amrita vishwa vidhya peetham university has a very good infrastructure. The facilities are incrediable inside campus there.Bus facilities are fabulous. hostel and food is good bt not providing non veg...
our university provides a good knowledge to every students who are persuing here. Faculties are taking students in a good path. students are library provided with a number of books. labs are helping students to get good knowledge.
since iam in my third year i dont have any idea about the placements.but student's from final year are placing with a good annual package in both software and core companies. companies like Microsoft and google are selecting couple of students who are good at programming
The infrastructure & facilities were very good but the equipment were limited during our time. The library was exhaustive & the labs were up to date. But the facility of WiFi was not provided to the students. Smart Boards were new to the ears but we didn't have one!The hostels were neat & tidy and well-maintained but the hostel mess food, though very hygienic & fresh, was not everybody's cup of tea - so students hit the canteen button often!
Chose my passion - Mechanical Engineering :-) - and never regretted it. Inter-college interactions were limited & outstation participation were controlled, but we had the privilege to bring change to that and go national & international. Quality of teaching was good & from what I had learnt from my juniors, it has improved multi-fold. My 1st job interview was purely technical which I could clear easily, thanks to the strong basics imparted to us.
Some of the Big4 Tech giants recruited out of our college. For the 1st time in the history of my former organization, they selected 55 of us across various streams, as GETs. It was a proud moment when we represented our college during our orientation program in the company when we joined. The highest pay always go to the Digital Tech courses. Students & Professors alike from different Universities had heaped praises on the Tech infra at our campus.
I graduated with an annual expenditure of 90k per year inclusive of hostel stay & food. So the preparation to become independent & stay focussed was well supported by faculties & staff alike. Over the years, reading from local journals & news clippings, Amrita CBE students have created wonders working in some of the big conglomerates, both national & international. And this has come from the effort of the individual, ably supported the college. So I definitely 100% agree that its worth the value
Campus is spread over vast area of forest land surrounded by amazing landscape! We had the opportunity to use the Swimming pool which got constructed before we graduated. But the importance given to sports is limited which can be improved, as physical fitness complements the mental fitness. The campus has its own railway station though the road connectivity to the city is distant. A safe & secured campus with strong vigilance is a bonus to the college!
The preferential treatment given to IITs & NITs by the Corporates ensures a good Industry-Academia relations to those institutions. This is a key focus area to be concentrated upon, to prepare the students to be industry ready and have a competitive advantage over the peer institutions. Also, industry ideas are born out of research labs or workshops - which makes the college an ideal Ground Zero for pooling them, capitalizing the brains of future leaders that are being groomed in the campus.
College's infrastructure is upto the mark and the environment is covered with lush green trees and plants. Campus WiFi can be accessed from 6AM to 11.59PM. Only Vegetarian food is available across all the campuses. Library, Labs and Sport Centers can also be accessed till 10PM in the night.
The methodology of teaching is very much appreciated here and learning process is upto it's best. Curriculum is updated and management have brought new courses which are useful at the industry. Student - Teacher interaction is also good and any student can approach the faculty incase of doubts or project purposes.
Placement is the only thing which is dependable on the student. Companies come to our college and hires 95% of the students. The placement training to the students here starts form 2nd year itself. The highest salary during 2020-21 AY is 60LPA. The average salary one gets is b/w 4-5.5LPA.
The fee is a little bit higher and the value for the money you pay will get maximum justice. ??
Campus life is good and support that faculty gives is also nice. But there are some psycho faculty who doesn't even care about students. Those people are neglected from the review
Overall Rating = 4/5
Infrastructure is at its best thus attracting the students to join the college. On the other hand naturally the climate also helps bring in more students.Laboratories are equipped with newly upcoming technology. It has a very good and feasible structure allowing us students to overcome our fears and concentrate on students skills. They also help us develop in not only studies but also other activities like sports.
This is a research institution so Academics are excellent. The only area we are lacking in is Transportation Engineering. The faculty are experts in their respective fields. The dedicated teachers are true to their profession and try their level best to help their students.
We had Corporate related class to enhance our experience in the perspective of interview. They train us through well trained and experienced faculties for verbal, aptitude and personal development skill. so that we go through the interviewing process easily and they even train us through mock interviews. The average salary offered is around 4 LPA.
I pay approx Rs.250000 in tuition fees every year. Personally, for me, I think it was worth it, considering that it is a private university & the value that the certificate holds in the community. Civil Engineering department specifically is recognized by the National Board of Accreditation for its Curriculum, so the Certificate holds its value internationally. I'm not sure if it is worth it for upcoming students because the fee structure is revised every year.
In-campus living cost is high approx. 1Lakh for mess and hostel. So make sure if economically it is viable, with an allowance of at least 5 to 6k every month for any additional expenses. Economically speaking it is a big investment. Overall Campus life is exciting and outstanding.
Regarding the above, the only thing lacking is new age laboratory instruments like digital universal testing machine & Digital Consolidation testing apparatus. We still do have the analog counterparts but, considering it to be an A grade University with high tuition fees this is a downside. The campus infrastructure is amazing and even the faculties are superb.Living spaces are very good and the cool climate definitely helps.Food is fine and hygienic .
This is a research institution so Academics are excellent. The faculty are experts in their respective fields and are approachable.I'm doing a Btech in electronics and instrumentation engineering because i've always been fascinated with how things work and components of a machine.Curriculum is updated.
If you want to pursue in core Engineering, only a few core companies hire during Campus-Placements. There are mass recruiters (BYJU's Etc.) and getting in is a piece of cake with a good starting yearly salary about 5LPA.Campus placements itself is conducted by a department (called CIR - Corporate & Industry Relations) who work around the year to help students get placed. They also help students to hone their skills in Aptitude & Practical English right from first year.
I pay approx Rs.250000 in tuition fees every year. Personally, for me, I think it was worth it, considering that it is a private university & the value that the certificate holds in the community is good. There are a lot of oppurtunities to excel at Amrita.
The campus is one of the most beautiful campuses that I have been to. It is out of the city premises, fully filled with trees, that create an awesome ambience for the students here. Overall Campus life is exciting and outstanding. The location is absoltely safe.
Awesome first 2 years!
