AS-Salam College of Engineering and Technology, Thanjavur, is one of the many affiliated institutions in Tamil Nadu that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering. 7. The final selection will depend on the academic performance, entrance exam scores, if applicable, and the performance in the counseling/interview process of the candidate.
Degree-wise Admission process
B.E: AS-Salam College has seven different B.E. programs that cater with varying intake capacities. Admission for students into B.E. courses mainly depends on qualifying examination performance (10+2) and rank in TNEA counseling. The B.E. students enrolled in this college include Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Information Science and Technology.
M.E. (Master of Engineering): The college has three M.E. programs, that is Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Communication Systems. Admission into these programs typically requires a valid GATE score or performance in a college-specific entrance test, followed by a counseling process. Candidates have to hold a relevant B.E. or B.Tech degree in order to be eligible for such programs.
