The campus is spread over approx 700-800 acres .Each department has its separate block equipped with latest equipments.The college includes a central library ,5-6 workshops building which I guess is built in 90's , laboratories , startup building, auditorium,club ground,around 29 hostels separate for girls and boys.overall infrastructure is good in comparison to other engineering colleges

I am a student of bit sindri pursuing BTech in electronics and communication engineering. Classes in bit sindri takes place on a regular basis with routine lab works and workshops.Apart from academics the college has many clubs which conducts different fests to inculcate a sense of innovation amongst the students.

Over the past few years placements have really improved with average package of 3.8-4.4 lpa .companies such as vedanta,Tata Steel ,Tcs,usha Martin,Aditya birla group,wipro and many more visits the college every year .the highest package bagged is 10.12 lpa every year by 10-15 students every year. Bit sindri is known for its results in GATE,IES/ESE,CAT etc

Since bit sindri is a state government college so it's annual fees is much less as compared to other engineering colleges . The annual tution fees is Rs 7730 with students maintenance fund of Rs 5000 ,hostel charge is Rs 5000 per year with electricity charge of Rs 2000 per year.The mess charge is Rs 3000 per month .This college is the best college in terms of return to investment

Colege life in bit is awesome and what makes it amazing are the different clubs which conducts time to time different activities and fest .The annual sports meet and the inter branch cricket tournament.overall it is fun to be in bit

Infrastructure is well procured with the basic amenities required for engineering. Workshops and labs are facilitated with tools and apparatus. Hostel are good based on cleanliness and space. Natural vegetation is remarkable.

Quality of education lies on the students. Syllabus is completed as per the committee guidelines. Classes are on regular basis. College central library is well endowed with necessary books and resources.

Placement of students in college its not bad. Students are given coaching for GATE & CAT by the college committee. IT companies like TCS and Wipro offer jobs to relatively more number of students. In 2020, Samsung offered job opportunities top the students. Students here can also secure jobs in PPOs.

Return on investment is higher.

BIT Sindri is one of the oldest and reputed college in our country. It has a huge infrastructure full of greenery which expanded in an area of 700 acre of land.The labs are very good , have many equipments. It has largest heat engine lab. There are many facilities such as smart boards, a huge library . But there is no wifi in campus and this is the major drawback. The environment is awesome full of nature. Proper hygienic is there in surroundings.

I am a student of Electrical Engineering in first year. I must say electrical branch is one of the best branch in terms of academics. All the professors of my branch has depth in concepts. Our curriculum is updated in some extent and includes the recent changes occured in syllabus. You will get enough time to prepare for the competitive examination as we know self study is must.

The quality of placements is medium, we can say more than average. Mettalurgy branch has the highest placement approx 98%. Rest may lie in 50-60%. The highest package offered by Tata Steel to students of Electrical, Mechanical, ECE and Mettalurgy branch. The average salary is 3-4 lacs per annum. The placement is overall good .

This college is really value for money as the tuition fee is very low. The total cost per year is approx 50k including mess fee which is affordable. In comparison to the academics and placement , the fee is minimal

There are many clubs which looks for overall development. There are many technical fests such as Kurukshetra, TOY, which empathise upon the technical skills of student. Bitaansh is the cultural fest. There is EDM nights which is the most interesting part. The teachers are very supportive and they always motivate and instruct the students.

The college is overall very good if you want to persue B.Tech in minimal cost with descent placement. The admission is done through Jee Main score. It is mandatory to score good in JEE to get own interest branch.

BIT Sindri has a great infrastructure (about 700 acre campus area). There is greenery all over the campus as the bulding occupies only 400 acre of total area. There are approx 29 hostels, boys and girls have separate hostel. Mess is enough good as compared to other colleges, 24*7 water supply system. The hostels are also equipped with TV and Carrom board in common room, volleyball court and large terrace.

I am studying B.Tech in Electronic and Communication engineering. Course curriculum is well updated after changing of college university from Vinoba bhave university to Jharkhand University of Technology. In first year, all students have same courses and one department course which gives exposure which helps the student to change their course if they wish. Although some of faculties are from research background and also they motivate us to to go in research field.

We have recruitments every year. Companies like Vedanta, AVG, TCS, Wipro, Tata steel, DVC, SAIL, L&T, Tata Hitachi, ZS Association, Usha Martin etc come for recruitment. The average package is 3-4 lacs per annum. The placement ratios varies branch to branch like 98% for metallurgy. TCS and Wipro are the mass recruiter. About 82% students of Electronics and communication branch gets placed.

As BIT Sindri is a government college, the fee structure is quite affordable here. The semester fee is only 20,000 and other fees like electricity, hostel etc include a total of 10,000. The mess fee is 3,000 per month and the facilities available at this much fees is are very good when compared to other colleges. The government also provide scholorship to deserving candidate and who belong to backward classes. The girls candidate also get a reduction in their fees.

Campus life is interesting in BIT Sindri, as the gender ratio is 8:1 here. Extra curricular , Labs, Workshop, Sports comppetition are happening all around the year. Political influence is very low here. The environment is quite secular and students from all raligions are study here. In BIT Sindri ,there are about 16 clubs like Model club, Arts club, Sports club etc. The events at BIT Sindri are very dynamic. The cultural fest BITAANSH is all time hit of the college.

Faculty at BIT Sindri are qualified for producing one of the best engineers of the nations. They are continuously doing research and advancement in their respective subjects in collaboration with IIT KHARAGPUR and IIT-ISM DHANBAD.

The college have all the modern facilities including modernised classrooms laboratories library and sports ground. The classroom are modernised classrooms with smart boards. They all are well maintained. The living spaces are cleaned.

I'm pursuing electronics and communication engineering here. The teachers of the branch are well behaved and highly educated. The curriculum is updated on regular basis for the betterment of Student. The study makes us job ready here.
