Academics at BMIET are satisfactory but not exceptional. The curriculum follows Indraprastha University (IPU) guidelines, and the syllabus is mostly theoretical with limited focus on practical or industry-relevant skills. Faculty members are cooperative and knowledgeable in their respective subjects, but not all are industry-experienced. Teaching is largely lecture-based, with fewer interactive or project-oriented methods. Attendance policies are moderately strict, and internal assessments are regularly conducted. While some departments like Computer Science and Electronics show decent performance in terms of results and activities, other branches may lack consistency in academic delivery. The college occasionally organizes workshops, technical seminars, and guest lectures, but the frequency and quality vary. There is a lack of industry collaboration, which reflects in limited exposure to real-world problem-solving.
