it is for Undergraduate courses like BE/B.Tech, then you have to appear for TNEA Counselling conducted by Anna University. Anna University has no entrance examination and the admission is through TNEA which is the counselling process. The admission to BE/B.Tech courses is conducted on the basis of merit scored in 12th. As many as 563 Institutions participate in TNEA Counselling. Though TNEA is primarily for Candidates who fulfil the Nativity criteria, few seats are also allotted for Candidates out of Tamilnadu. This number is approximately 50. The University has not released TNEA application forms yet. Once Anna University releases the online registration process, you need to register and appear for counselling.

Application window is expected to open on June 26, 2022, candidates seeking admission need to apply online. The fees is estimated to be around INR 3.65 lakh - INR 3.70 lakh. Admission to Anna University MSc courses is based on a separate entrance examination conducted by the University for a duration of 2 hours. The test will be based on BSc (Major)
subjects. Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Hey aspirant, yes you can get admission to CEG, via TNEA exam. Diploma or plus two marks are not enough to get an admission, you need to get good score in TNEA exam.

College of engineering Guindy is a public engineering  located in Guindy,Chennai.Institute offer more than 80 courses under UG and PG. This college have both BE and Btech courses. BE in mining engineering is offered in this college.

Eligibility for Minining engineering in this college is 10, plus two  from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, mathematics compulsory. As you are diploma student in mining engineering, you can definitely get admission in this College for either BE or Btech. Students are selected by TNEA exam. Total fee for course is 2 Lack.

Admission into M.E/ M.Tech courses in College of Engineering, Guindy is based on GATE entrance exam/ TANCET entrance exam.

Candidates must have passed with minimum aggregate of 50 percentage (45 percentage for reservation category candidates) in Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Engineering or Architecture or Pharmacy from a recognised College or University.

M.E/ M.Tech courses are 2 years full-time courses in this College. These courses are offered by Anna University, Chennai

College of engineering, Guindy is a government college established in the year 1974.

The college offers various courses both at Undergraduate UG and Postgraduate PG level.

College of Engineering, Guindy Admission Procedure- B.E/B.Tech

• Candidates have to register and apply online on the official website of Anna University.

• College of Engineering, Guindy B.E/B.Tech admissions are offered based on marks obtained in the class 12th examination.

• Then, College of Engineering, Guindy cut off for B.E/B.Tech admission is released.

• Further, candidates have to participate in the TNEA counselling and it includes choice filling of college after which the seats are allotted on the basis of merit list.

It is a public-government college which is also known to be the oldest technical colleges of India. CEG Guindy has been ranked 14 for Engineering Colleges by NIRF 2020. To join in CEG under Anna University, you need not write any entrance exams. You can apply for TNEA counseling to get admission. Your 12th marks will be calculated for 200 and merit list will be prepared. Based on that only admission takes place. If you are looking for,

• B.Arch- you may write NATA
• MBA/ME/Mtech- you may write GATE or TANCET

College of Engineering Guindy Chennai Tamil Nadu which is under Anna University which was established in the year of 1794 has UG and PG courses for admission. Admission in UG courses is done through Tamil Nadu engineering admission test TNEA. Marks you have got in physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th so there is chance to get the ECE branch electronics and communication engineering is hopeful. But you have to qualify TNEA exam with valid score.
