ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hello aspirant,
I'm assuming you want to study the fundamental sciences. There is no doubt at all that you should enrol in an IIT if you want to study engineering.
In a nutshell, IISERs are organisations that were founded with the goal of advancing India's basic science culture.
Therefore, you should definitely join IISER if you have a passion for conducting research.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you
You have got AIR 48,718 with 94.54 percentile that's not that bad score to be honest that is good score.
Now talking about your college which will you get. You won't be getting CS in IIIT bhagalpur, IIIT Una as their cutoff is higher then your rank IIIT Bhagalpur closing rank was 25963 for open catagory whereas closing rank for IIIT Una was 23500.
In my opinion you can go for NIT uttrakhand if get allotted we should go with that as it's cutoff is near to your rank.
Talking about Dirubhai Ambani institute of information and communication technology it is private self-financed university so if you can afford it's fees which 86,000/annum + 22,000/annum hostel fees it will be good option but you should go for this college after you are unable to get in the above mentioned college.
Most important is if you are getting any other branches also should go for it in IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT una and NIT uttrakhand as you can change it after 2nd sem in most of institute and after 1st sem in some institute.
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

Hi Aspirant!
Both colleges, NIT UK and NSUT East campus provide good facilities to students such as digital classrooms, well-equipped labs, library, sports, internet facilities, hostel and hygienic food etc. Faculty members in both colleges are highly skilled and supportive. For placements, NIT Uttarakhand has better record over NSUT (East campus) (as per the reviews). Many companies such as BPCL, Wipro, IBM, Samsung R&D, Infosys, L&T, Capgemini etc. visit the NIT with average salry package of 6-7 LPA and highest salary package upto 30 LPA.
Thankyou!
Hello Aspirant,
See If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your ST rank is expected to be in the range of 5000-6000 and your percentile is expected to be around 85.78 - 88.9 as the shift that you have mentioned was bit difficult in comparison to other shifts.
You can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing ST rank for NIT Uttarakhand was :-
Mechanical Engineering branch - 3160 (Home state quota)
Mechanical Engineering branch - 2211 (Other state quota)
And your ST rank is expected to be around 5000-6000
So you have very less or almost no chances to get NIT Uttarakhand with any of the branches even if you have Home state quota.
But yes if you improve your marks in any further session of JEE-Main like around 100+ then you might have a shot at NIT Uttarakhand.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Good Luck!!
Dear aspirant,
As you know, JEE Mains is one of the toughest and most prestigious engineering exams across India so it's obvious that there is a huge competition. The competition is that tough that the students lose their chances of admission by only a 0.1 or 0.2 percentile.
National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand is one of the 31 NITs and one of the institutes of national importance. Still, the rank of NIT Uttarakhand is low in the list but being NIT it has a massive crowd every year for admission. As you said you got 82.89 percentile in JEE Mains 2021 February attempt so that's good but not up to the mark to get admission into NIT Uttarakhand.
As per your percentile, your rank may be between 1,80,000 -1,85,000. So, as per the rank estimation, you will get admission to the GB Pantnagar in Computer Science and Information Technology branch. The previous year's cut-off as per the rank for CSE and IT branch in GB Pantnager is up to 8,00,000th rank for general category. As you are from the EWS category so, you will easily get admission there.
To get more clarity, you can predict your college at the JEE Mains 2021 College Predictor of Careers360 from the below link:

I hope you get admission soon.
