College of Engineering, Kallooppara Admission Process

College of Engineering, Kallooppara (CEK) is a self-financing college, situated at Pathanamthitta in Kerala state. College provides various engineering courses at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Admission process of CEK is to choose suitable candidates for its various engineering courses.

The main entry mode for CEK's B.Tech programs is the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). It's an entry exam that essentially decides on qualification to be eligible for admission into engineering studies at Kerala.

50% of the seats are reserved on merit by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala, from the KEAM rank list for admissions to B.Tech. The other 45% of the seats come under the Management Quota, and they also admit on the basis of KEAM ranks. It is a competitive and fair selection process for would-be engineering students.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech courses in CEK are typically successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent with core subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidates also need to achieve the minimum marks as specified by the Kerala Technological University and pass the KEAM exam.
