Admission procedure for Faculty of Architecture is exclusively for meritorious and competitive candidates. The application process in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow under the Faculty of Architecture varies by program:

For B.Arch program:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Arch: As said above, the Bachelor program in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, AKTU brings an annual intake of 80 students; admission would depend on the performance in a national- or state-level entrance examination. Candidates must have passed 10+2 examinations specific subjects as per the relevant norms set by the Council of Architecture.

A student has to pay around Rs. 4,50,000 total tuition fee under this program.

M.Arch: The institute offers several specializations in terms of M.Arch: Interior Design, Environmental Design, and Urban and Regional Planning. The admission is primarily based on one's GATE score. The institute has counted 20 admissions for each of M.Arch, M.Arch Environmental Design, and M.Arch Interior Design. The total fee for the M.Arch course is around Rs 1,46,400.

Ph.D in Architecture: The introduction into the doctoral program can happen through an entrance test organized by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Candidates with masters in architecture and/or related disciplines can apply. This selection procedure measures the research eligibility of the candidates.
