Government Women's Polytechnic, Ranchi Facilities
GWP facilities include well-ventilated spacious classrooms to accommodate around 75 students per branch. Apart from these classrooms, there are training rooms, faculty rooms, laboratories and open spaces for students, faculty and staff to move freely.
Govt. Women's Polytechnic Ranchi has its own library which is an invaluable resource for students and Diploma Engineering Faculties. There are two hostels for girls on the GWP college campus.

- Girls Hostel
The Campus's concern for the well-being of students is amply reflected in its arrangement for holistic campus life. The institution has two hostels for girls on campus. Designed aesthetically, all hostels have been built to ensure a comfortable stay with air and light aplenty. The pastoral surroundings give the campus, especially the hostel, an ideal ambiance to lead a life of health and to help the students concentrate on their studies. To give the borders a homely feeling and a breathing space only a specified number of students are accommodated in each room. All these help the students to spend their hostel life in harmony with themselves and those around them. It also provides a separate bed for each student, two ceiling fans, and four tables and chairs in each room. The College hostel is not only safe and comfortable but also cheap given the spiraling trend in house rent in and around Ranchi. The foodstuff served at the hostel has been to of a very high standard. Special food items are served on special occasions and a grand feast is arranged at the end of every month. Meticulous care is taken towards sanitary requirements and cleanliness of the hostels and their surroundings. Hygiene is of paramount importance here and is maintained in earnest.
- Library
The College has its own library is an invaluable resource for students and faculties diploma engineering. The college library occupies a position of pride and importance at GWP. The library has over the year built a robust collection of over 1,89,270 books, 30,000 bound volumes. The GWP library is an authentic knowledge repository knowledge with over 3000 titles, 31022 copies, and 10 National journals/periodicals, and also contains a number of magazines of repute. Every year new books are added to the library as needed. The library has set contacts with libraries for getting articles,copies, or books which are not available in our library.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
- Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
- Classrooms
The college has a college, and each branch has separate classrooms. Being attentive and taking notes during class will enhance your learning experience in a college classroom. Behaving in a college classroom is a requirement if students plan to get ahead and do well.

Infrastructure of this college is good, but lack of laboratory facilities. There is two hostels which is quite good. Classroom has smart board. College has Wi-Fi facility , well-maintained libraries . College living spaces are clean and hygienic.

College Infrastructure
In my college Government Women's Polytechnic Ranchi the infrastructure related facilities are pretty good. The college campus is big and clean and hygienic. Yes college also have wifi facilities and wifi boards.
Overall satisfied and it fullfilled my all dreams.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good and well developed.It have all the nesscaary equipment and well maintained.My college has all the facilities of laboratories, library and all the nesscaary things,the Wifi facility is quite well but the college hostel need to be repaired.
