Yes , my college has almost all the necessary facilities. The college campus is Well structured buildings. Well equipped labs with ACs, Plastic free environment, Greenery Ecofriendly campus. The hostel provides 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity, dining hall and the college also has a well-stocked library and also has a lift for disability access. We also have seminar hall, sports centre , swimming pool and lift. Canteen food is really good with affordable price. So overall campus is awesome.
I'm third year student of B.A hons geography. Teachers are really good and supportive. They tried their best to provide us all the facilities regarding studies. Classes are regular. Curriculum is updated and syllabus is comprehensive , includes all the recent developments in the field that make us job ready.
I've done one internship. No such stipend. Many companies of marketing and finance come to hire students in the college. The average salary offered is 8 lakhs per annum. Great alumni network. Key companies like Mahindra Tech, SAP, TCS, Deloitte come to recruit students. Highest package offers to b.com hons and economics hons student but many companies are also giving opportunities to other background students.
It's worth it, my fees is approx 34000 which is ok. Getting all kind of facilities under this range is worth. So yes getting degree in this range it definitely fine.
Campus life is wonderful.IP College for Women has an ICT Centre, studio and production centre, a hub for community radio. It has a fully air-conditioned auditorium which can accommodate more than 500 people, full of trees and beautiful flowers. Teachers and non teaching staff are really cooperative. There are many societies in our college like Alaap the classical music society Cadenza the western music society Mridang the classical dance society. It is located in civil lines , delhi .
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. It is occupied with : Wi-Fi enabled Campus 100 % Barrier free Access Bi-Lingual Website Hostels - 2 (450) seats Science, Humanities, Commerce Courses Classrooms - 70 LCD Projection Facility - 45 Classrooms Laboratories - 14 LCD Projection in Laboratories - 11 Tutorial / Research Rooms Under-One-Roof Enabling Unit App –Lecture Hall- Audio Repository for VI Students Science Society Library Reading Room
The Commerce Department was set up in 1977 in response to growing demand for the subject amongst potential admission seekers. Started in a modest way, with two faculty members as founding members and around thirty students, the department today boasts of a team of thirteen dedicated permanent faculty members and excellent students. One of the faculty member, who retired recently, Mrs. Renu Gulati has received the Teaching Excellence Award from University of Delhi in the year 2013-14.
The placement cell of the college is very cooperative and effective. Around 80% of the student placed at the good companies. They offered as much as high salary as your hardwork . It totally depends upon you and your hardwork.
Yes it values for money but not much as compared to other du colleges. It has most high fees of the college. It has 28000 per annum fees. But according to its seminars and infrastructure it totally worth my money.
It has very good environment around it and a lot of places are there for hanging out. In one word - Diverse. Being a girls’ college it is stricter than other DU colleges. I hate the strict attendance policy and those compulsory sports hours and ECA hours but it was only in my final year that I realised how I could have enjoyed it all instead of cribbing about it. IP has great facilities, the swimming pool, the gymnasium, and so on. Honestly, there is so much to do inside the college! I was in BM
Yes I am loving the college and teachers also. They are really good and cooperative. The first couple of weeks can be difficult if you belong to a tier 2/3 cities, but eventually, your circle will find you (not the other way around). Classes, in the beginning, will feel like an eternity, but you will get used to it. You will get some good food outside the campus. It is situated in the civil lines, so, north campus is just a couple of stations away.
I personally haven't been to the college but through the virtual tour, I could actually figure out how beautiful the college is. We have a huge library and our colleges provides us with various sports facilities. That's all I know.
IPCW is considered to be one of the best colleges of Delhi University to pursue BSc in Computer Science. The quality of teaching is good. Teachers try their best to clear doubts and complete syllabus on time. What we're studying definitely doesn't make us job-ready but rather builds a strong foundation to grasp the concepts well for higher studies.
I don't really know the quality of the placements but it's definitely not bad. The average placement is of about 4.5 lpa if I am not wrong. I have no idea what % of students get placed but most people aim for higher studies or change their aim.
My course costs Rs. 45,600. It is a bit costly in my opinion since all we're getting right now is online classes. It'd be much more worthy if the classes were to be happen offline. Since we could actually live our college life.
All I know about my college is that it has a beautiful, beautiful garden. I do not have an idea about the infrastructure or how large it is. It is situated in Civil Lines which is a little away from the actual North Campus colleges so not many have heard of our college. But it's almost 98 years old and is a very prestigious one so there's that.
College have all the basic and necessary facilities that are required . Infrastructure of college is great. All living spaces are clean and food is hygienic.Everything is well maintained in the college.College from inside is like a garden which seems very beautiful and attractive.
I am pursuing B.com hons from IPCW . The quality of teaching is very good .Teachers of our department are also very supportive . In online system also they do their best with best quality teaching. Almost every department teachers are very supportive and have good methods of teaching.
Placements in the college are quite good and normal. Many companies like delloite ,EY etc. Offer placements... Many students get good salary packages like 4-5 lacs . Now placement cell is also working actively and give many options to students proceeds from first year also.
The average cost for course is 28000 . I guess this college have highest fee compared to other DU colleges. Teachers and staff is supporting so I can say money is worth but a little bit more which is not reliable.
Our session started online so till how I haven't experience campus life. But according to google or previous year students views I can say that campus life will be awesome with good friends. It's not in north campus but near to north campus by which students can enjoy or take vibes of north campus which makes college life more awesome. It is really very safe and have police station near it and have good security staff in college which makes you fell safe and free.
I definitely suggest you to choose IPCW .It can give you great experience .
The college infrastructure is excellent. It has everything one needs. Libraries and classrooms are well equipped. Hygiene is also a big factor here. The college has a big range of sports materials provided.
I am student of bcom hons. It is a reliable and promising course. The quality of teaching here is pretty fine. The curriculum is updated and classes are taken as per requirements. Student needs to be focused then it will be an easy ride.
The placement cell of Indraprastha college works well for deserving students. The college tries to bring in as many opportunities and company offers as possible. Students must be aware and active in activities to avail it.
The cost per year is a bit on the higher side as compared to most of the Delhi University colleges, but it is worth the money. This college provides good knowledge and exposure which will surely be helpful in the days to come.
The college campus is spacious and clean. There is a society for every interest that a student potentially has. It is a friendly environment. Also, our campus has an explicit love for nature and its habitat.
The infrastructure of the college is very nice, and is one of the greenest college. Proper hygiene and sanitation are ensured, both in the college and hostels. The quality of the food served is also good, and the classrooms are well furnished. Facilities provided by the college are quite good
I am persuing Bcom hons. The quality of teaching is quite imlressive. The syllabus is updated as per the guidelines of the University of Delhi. Faculty is highly professional and experienced. They are experts in their subjects.
I don't know much about it since I'm a fresher. But keeping everything in mind, it must be good too as I have came to know about it. The college also has a placement cell (J.E.E.T). This helps the students to know about the available opportunities
I paid Rs 28000 for Bcom hons. I feel it is worth the money as the college provides a lot of facilities.
Being a fresher I can't explain the campus life well since I don't have much exposure. But as the seniors say the campus life is really nice
The college's infrastructure in amazing. The beautiful campus and the greenery around is so fascinating. The campus is wifi-enabled and the tables and chairs are well maintained. The living space is clean and the food is very hygeinic
I am pursuing B.com( hons.) And the teachers for the course are very cooperative. The way of teaching is appreciable and the doubts are cleared on a regular basis. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The placement cell of the college is very active and we are provided with ample opportunities for internships and skill development. The highest salary package offered was approx 18 lakhs/ annum. The placement cell helps a lot in getting a good placement
The fees for my course was Rs.28100/ year and yes, I feel that i am getting my money's worth because of the amazing facilities and opportunities available.
College infrastructure is exceptionally good. College have gardens with beautiful herbs, shrubs and trees. It is all green and clean around. There is a nice library , sports centre and a gym and many more.
I am srudying bcom hons. There are excellent teachers for each subject and they are quite supportive . Teachine is quite satisfactory ànd teachers take extra classes for doubt solving wherr one is free to ask any doubt.
Placements are excellent. Many reputed companies come for campus placement. Students get placed to highly reputed companies with decent salaries . There is a placement cell which works exceptionally well in this section.
It is worth the money one pays.
excellent
Ipcw has one of the best infrastructures in DU. The garden and buildings are a sight for photography and they are well maintained also. The college looks like a white marble castle. The library, canteen and hostel facilities are also good.
Arts courses are brilliant and academics for commerce and science is also good. Faculty is nice and experienced. But the college is a little strict academic wise so it depends on you whether you want a little more freedom or not.
Almost all DU colleges have average placement of 3-4 Lacs. But the placement cell of ipcw is really active, internships are also floated from the first year itself. And for placements some big companies like Deloitte, EY, DE Shaw comes, and they offer a pretty good package of 5-6 Lacs and some students even managed to get 10+ lac packages.
The annual fee is only 23000. Though it's a bit high as compared to other DU colleges but still the infrastructure is good so it doesn't really matter.
Ipcw is a bit isolated from north campus, though it's not that far but still it has less inter college events and activities.
Infrastructure is good.College has gardens, parks and many birds like peacock. It does provide all facilities needed in an institution. College environment is green and hush greeneey around. It also has wifi access.
I am pursuing bcom hons and i find the teachers, staff and faculty helpful and supportive. They are also enthusiastic to teach the students and also they are experienced. They have profound knowledge...
Depends on the students and whether they are interested in in work after graduatiin or further studies. Most people go for further studies because of the quality of education imparted and it creates further curiosity.
My course (bcom hons) costs around Rs. 28000 per year and yes it is expensive than other colleges of DU.Many students dont opt for this college because of its expensive nature.Facilities provided are worth.
Students have a lot of facilities like sports, grounds, library. But ut doesnt have much of a campus life. Also it is quite faraway than the main campus and it takes 10 minutes to reach there.........
Dear applicant it's great that you have so many options, however among all of them I would suggest you to choose Indraprastha College for Women, this college has great academic record, all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable and you will be under the guidance of very helpful faculties.
