Institute of Advanced Management and Technology (IAMT), Meerut, follows a competitive and merit-based admission procedure for future engineering students. IAMT is committed to providing quality technical education and is of the opinion that academically talented students should be admitted. The institute primarily accepts scores from national and state-level entrance exams for its B.Tech programs.

The admission procedure of IAMT typically adheres to the academic calendar, and the procedure begins after the announcement of entrance exam results. For the subsequent academic year, students who are interested may prepare for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is set to release city intimation slips on January 2, 2025. The Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) is also a recognized test for admission to IAMT.

Application Procedure

The following is the procedure for applying to get admitted to IAMT's B.Tech programs:

1. Appear in the JEE Main or UPCET test.

2. Following the release of the results, eligible students may apply to IAMT through either the official website of the institute or as per the directions released by the concerned entrance examination conducting authorities.

3. Fill up the application form with proper personal and academic details.

4. Upload the required documents, which are typically:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• JEE Main or UPCET score card
• Passport size photograph
• Valid ID proof

5. Pay the application fee as specified by the institute.

6. Submit the completed application form along with all necessary documents

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: IAMT offers three B.Tech programs, i.e., Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. Each program accepts 60 students, thus making 180 students for all the B.Tech programs. The admission process in these programs is based on the performance of the candidate in JEE Main or UPCET. The four-year B.Tech programs are designed to provide the students with overall knowledge and skill in the particular field of engineering.
