Both colleges are top college in westbengal. There just a difference between placement in companies, and teaching technic . But both are good in there different sides,

And about if you got a chance a job then you can give other changes to your friend in other companies that's why you can't sit for other companies campusing when you all ready have a job .

The admission to 90% of total seat intake for Engineering (Under Graduate) course in Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is based on merit in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and rest 10% seats will be filled based on merit in JEE Main.

The eligibility criteria to appear for WBJEE is that you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics , Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination. If you belong to General category then you must have scored an aggregate of 45% in the three compulsory subjects in 10+2 level. If you belong to any reserved category candidates must have scored minimum 40% marks. You should have also passed in English subject with minimum 30% marks. You cannot get direct admission based on marks scored in qualifying examination. Also you must have studied Mathematics and passed in it to be eligible to appear for WBJEE or JEE Main to get admission to B.Tech CSE in IEM, Kolkata.

Yes, Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata offers Bsc in Media Science. It's a 3 years course divided into 6 semesters. The total fees for this course is Rs.3.30 lakhs, as per the previous year data, which may increase slightly. Students, who have cleared their Higher Secondary (10+2) exams in any stream from a recognized board or council, can apply.

Unfortunately, you can't get CSE at this rank their. Except CSE, all other branches can get at this rank in Heritage & In IEM, except CS, IT, ECE.

If you want only CS, then you can go for Techno India Salt Lake or Jalpaiguri IT.

see the all three of the institute is best to study computer engineering and electrical engineering. see cse and Electrical is two different stream. basically in government engineering colleges core engineering like electrical, mechanical and information technology placement is best. so in case you are interested for computer science and electrical engineering I have rearrange the colleges as follows.
