Gymnasium- IQ City Nursing College, Durgapur provides gymnasium facilities for the students, faculty and staff all throughout the day. The gym is fully air-conditioned and well equipped with all necessary equipment needed for conducting all exercises and workouts.
Hospital- A hospital has also been established inside the campus of IQ City Nursing College, Durgapur providing a number of healthcare and medical facilities to the patients. Cafeteria
IQ City food court is a pleasant ambiance place situated within the campus. The cafeteria serves hygienic food at reasonable prices. Students have a choice of which are given a homely touch. Hot meals, snacks and beverages of different flavors are served to the students and staff at reasonable rates with an option of take away for the campus residents and locals. The cafeteria is well furnished and well maintained to conveniently accommodate 500 students at a time, during the campus hours. Separate kitchens are maintained for cooking vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The cafeteria is open 365 days which serves a wide range of refreshment & fast food varieties.
Laboratories
Midwifery and Child Health Lab Equipped with advance models, mannequins and charts to demonstrate mechanism of normal and abnormal labor, learn normal structure of reproductive system and gynecological deviations, Newborn Care and Neonatal Resuscitation etc. and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation of infants. Community Health Lab Have two set-ups to practice the skills. Home set up and first level referral unit set up to give an insight about the management of MCH services and the management of other services provided. Nutrition Lab Equipped with all the basic and advance gadgets required for cooking. Several charts to facilitate learning the normal diet at different ages of life and therapeutic diets for any ill person. Preclinical Science Lab Equipped with Plenty of Models and charts on anatomy, Physiology to aid in learning the basic science based on which the Nursing actions are determined. The computer Lab Is equipped with computers with internet and LAN connection.

2021 m direct admission hogi??

Hello Nandani,

The answer is "YES".

There will be admissions on a direct basis and management quota seats are also available for the students. Because this year has also been hectic to many. So without property notes and study material, it will be difficult for many candidates to get their dream colleges and seats. So definitely there will be direct admission but in colleges like IIT/NITS and other top colleges, there will be entrance exams only.

Various colleges offer admission on a direct basis and these are:

Amity University, Noida
Sharma University, Noida
IMS engineering college, Ghaziabad
Bennet university
Galgotia University
Lovely Professional University

Apart from these various other colleges/universities enable students on a direct basis. But the main issue with such direct admission is there are high chances of demanding a donation for fixing the seat in a college. Whereas an Entrance exam basis there will be no additional fees asked for admission.

Dear Student,

GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery . It is a three and half year’s diploma in paramedics.The basic eligibility is as follow

1)You should be 17 years old( in the year in which you are taking admission)

2)You should have passed +2 in physics,chemistry and biology or with arts with 50% aggregate

You should take this course if you want to make your career in the field of nursing and clinical nursing field.You have to apply for entrance exams and different states have different entrance exam for the same.The Fees vary from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1.5 Lakh per annum .There are many options after this and you can get nursing job easily after this in any government and private hospitals.The various career prospects are

Minimum educational qualification required by the candidate for admission in IQ City Nursing College, Durgapur is that the candidate should have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2) preferably with science (minimum marks 40%) from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education or equivalent examination from any recognized council or board.
