The infrastructure of college is not good, and the facilities provided here for hostellers is worst of worst I have seen. I love this college only because of its environment that is surrounded over the college.
The quality of teaching is good and faculty have good teaching as well as domain experience .But the academics are bit hectic ,extra classes ,assignments and all such boring stuff is just unbearable for the students.
The placement management department is not satisfactory enough. Not any good companies are coming for campus recruitment. Placement cell needs to be update more in every aspect keeping in mind the students future.
Our college was established in the year 1947. it is the first engineering college in Madhya Pradesh . The infrastructure is moderate. The hostel condition is average . mess is also better.one computer lab is there which has 100 student capacity and Wi-fi is give to student without any limit. the classroom are good and library also good
Academic study is very good in Jabalpur engineering College . All the professors attend classes regularly and classes for all the subjects are held regularly on daily basis. Laboratory in Jabalpur engineering college is very good and all the equipments are available in the laboratories.
The highest salary package offered in off campus was 54 LPA and in on campus was 19.2 LPA .the lowest package offered is 4LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 to 7 LPA. 90 to 95 Percenrt Student get placed.
per semester fees in Jabalpur engineering college is very low near about 13k per sem fees .here we get very good facilities for very low fees.
the campus life of Jabalpur engineering college is very good. Here we get all the facilities that we expect from the best engineering colleges.
The institute lags in infrastructure building and Maintainance. The classrooms are of very old (about 70years) infrastructure and doesn't provide clean and healthy environment. Washrooms are not that well maintained and girls have no option visiting only one decently maintained common room in the premises .
I'm pursuing industrial and production engineering. Most of the faculty of our college is quite knowledgeable and with great qualifications. The academic course programme is quite patriarchal but the faculty supports and helps us to get over it.
Basic placements are good (about 3.6 lpa). But if you're seeking for a higher placements then you'll have to go for off campus placements rather than on campus drives. But, to be honest, the environment here makes you rigid and by this it's easy to tackle the off campus drives for placements.
The course costed me about 26k rs per year which is quite a low amount.i do think it's worth the money as, if we neglect the infrastructure and amenities, the faculty here is quite knowledgeable and supportive and the learning environment is healthy here in college .
Campus Life here is quite good. The campus is very large and explorative. There is a canteen here with common seating area, which is a typical commonpoint place for everyone. There are way many groups and socities for every niche in the college which this helps you to grow any quotient of interest .
Concludingly, it is an institute which a person can opt if he is willing to put efforts on his career, wants to live a decent college life and can save family's hard earned money.
JEC is known to be one of the oldest engineering college of India. Our college campus covers a large area including various departments, hostels admin building and the NCC cadets training area. Our library consists of books of all subjects of well known authors, yet some books are not issued to students since they are old and those old ones are not replaced with new ones. Labs are old and only some machines work, since equipments are old. Classrooms consists of smart boards. Hostels are clean.
In electrical Engineering Dept. the high voltage lab was a testing lab for power transformers. Also Electrical Dept. of JEC was known to be best in M.P. After the joining of professors under TEQIP III the quality of education was improved. New subjects were added in our curriculum such as Wind and Solar Power Studies. Various workshops are carried in every 6 months including robotics, Industrial Drives, Solar power studies etc. Also new brances are being added from next session such as AI and ML
The placement for IT and CS branch us really good. Many opportunities are available for students from these branches. But for core branches only one or two companies come for placements and jobs are in hands of only 10-20% of students. Average salary of students ois around 4 to 5 lakhs P.A. Placement officers are very supportive for the procedures.
The course cost was a bare minimum amount 25k per year. The only thing which was not provided to us that the all the machines were not in working condition, and hence there are some things which we have studied theoretically but not seen practically.
Campus covers a really huge area and also we have 2 auditoriums and many sessions are being conducted there, NCC training area is there. Location of the college is really good i.e. in mid of the city students need not go to far away. We have various clubs like literary, photography club, etc.
Yes our college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. classroom are in the ok condition and laboratories are the perfect one and if we look around the laboratory history it's awesome , like our college electrical branch laboratory is so big that a truck ? can even go inside and turn around and come out.Wifi facility is not available till now but the college has assured to get it soon.No smartboards are there till now but still the college is progressing.
I'm studying due to two most important reason ,first is the small amount of fees ie.24.5k per year and second it's a government college.See according to me there is a minute difference in all tier college so why spend more.Curriculum is still not updated but two new branches have been added in our college this year one is Cse with AI and the other is Mechatronics.Learning Coding in a correct way makes us job ready.
Placement quality is not so good and very few companies come with less packages but the good thing is that many of the students from this college prepare for exams like GATE and IES. 90 percent students get placement.Average salary is around 6 lakhs per annum.College is very supportive in placements.
It cost's me around 24.5k rs per year (for general category) and hostel fees 2.5k(general category). My money is worthed and i'm fully satisfied because getting government college is not so easy and government college have their own perks.
The location is safe and clean and it can handle all sort of emergencies.campus good thing is that within campus we have a post office and a state bank of india branch.
Jec has separate old strong buildings for each department. The college is huge but hygiene is problem. The college has library. The library has immense number of books both for academics as well as competitive purpose. The college has sports club and hostels are available
Our college is local chapter of NPTEL and faculties has great knowledge about their domains and publish there research papers regularly. Most of the faculties have phd degree. Since the college is autonomous the syllabus is updated locally and regularly
The placement is not so good. It could be better despite of huge alumi contact. The companies which have visited this session are TCS and infosys, the college give free time for competitive exam preparation gate.
Being a government college fees is very low, also student from reserved category receives scholarship and other who had qualified gate exam receives stipend. Even if someone is from general category, the fees is very economical
Since I am a ME student and hardly I have attended college that is only in my 1st sem.....nd few days of 2nd sem before lockdown, so I have never seen my own classmates or even BE students to get engaged in any activities though there was only some seminars/ webinars.
JEC was established in 1947.The college is spread over 255 acres of land with different buildings for each department. The buildings are old but too strong .Library has good collection of books and hostels are also available.
Sufficient facilities are available for and teachers as well as for the students for doing their research work. Since the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. JEC is taking a lot of initiatives by revitalizing its courses.
The placement scenario is good basically for CS/IT domain. The companies which vist regularly are tcs ,wipro, infosys and many more. The professors motivates for higher studies especially PhD and research works.
College infrastructure is too old and not good in looks. Library is good classes are tooo old benches are also weak and broken not good for studies and the hygiene is good overall it's an average experience u can all about
Teachers are v good their qualifications and knowledge is good as they keep motivating for good work in our masters they have good and experience knowledge vto share with us but as govt it's a lazy clg
Placement is average didn't upto mark as not many companies come similar like low grades clgs placements are average not upto mark. All branches got selection of one branch that is it or cs which is hub of india
Since it's govt clg so fees is low as it is affordable
Campus Life is pretty normal as nothing much to do here
It's average experience overall

I AM from CSE department and my overall experiance is very good . it has fully eco friendly campus and the best renovated hostels . the quality of education is good but it has POOR managent administrative overall the college is best .
Academic of this college is very good it have well working labs all the computer in cse department are changed with new latest i7 intel core CPU and the other labs are also very good line mechanical and civil.
TPO of this college is quit active and a lot of companies are visit here for placement so i think this is good about in term of placement but you should try to some offcampus placement too. overall it is good.
the fees in this college is extremly low and we also get scholership so,for SC, ST student here education is free and for general and obc candidate there is also some scholarship provided and the semester fee is 13k
hostel life is ammazing and the college life is also amazing.
