The establishment of Jairupaa College of Engineering, located in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India, Within the framework of its mission to provide quality technical education, the institute imparts engineering education in a diversity of undergraduate fields. Admission to Jairupaa College of Engineering usually follows the graduating TNEA during the last stages of the admission tests, which occurs after the 12th-class board examinations. Candidates must be eligible for admission to JCE by passing their 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, the following being the minimum percentage relevant to admissions set by the Tamil Nadu government. 

Application Process

The application will be carried out as follows at Jairupaa College of Engineering via TNEA.

1. TNEA Registration: After setting up the TNEA website account, candidates have to register for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) by providing the relevant personal and academic information online.

2. Document Uploading: They are required to upload scanned copies of requisite documents, such as 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, community certificate (if applicable), and any other one(s) that may be mentioned by TNEA.

3. Payment of Application Fee: Candidates shall pay application fees for the respective year of TNEA.

4. Choice Filling: Students fulfilling the eligibility conditions as per the TNEA rank list shall fill their choice of colleges and courses including Jairupaa College of Engineering and various B.E. programs therein.

5. Seat Allotment: Seats are being assigned on TNEA counselling after the consideration of rank and choices filled by the candidate.

6. Confirmation of Admission: If a candidate is granted a seat for Jairupaa College of Engineering, he/she is required to report at the college for document verification and to confirm his/her admission by duly paying the fees.

Degree wise Admission Procedure

B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): Jairupaa College of Engineering carries out the admission procedure and likewise prognosis system for the five courses of pursuits studied for undergraduate degree galleries accepted by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. The five B.E. programs are:

  1. B.E. Mechanical Engineering: This is by far the largest program, with an intake ceiling of 120 students. Admission to this program is dependent upon the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission exam conducted by Anna University Chennai.
  2. B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This program's maximum intake is 60 students. Admission is according to the conduct of TNEA Entrance by Anna University, Chennai.
  3. B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering: This program has a maximum intake of 60 students. The admission to this program is based on the TNEA Entrance Exam held by Anna University, Chennai.
  4. B.E. Computer Science and Engineering: This program has 60 students admitted every year. Admission is done based on the TNE Entry Examination conducted by Anna University, Chennai.
  5. B.E. Civil Engineering: This program's admission numbers are a mere 60. Admissions are done on the basis of the TNEA test conducted by Anna University, Chennai.

For all such courses, the candidates applicable for admission should have passed the TNEA exams before attending counseling for the seat allotment.

Common documents required include:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets,
  • Transfer Certificate (TC),
  • Community Certificate, if any,
  • TNEA Rank Card,
  • Aadhaar Card,
  • Passport size photographs along with any other document as stipulated by TNEA or the college during the admissions.
