But mobiles phones are the basic requirement for every person so you can use it in hostel. Though you should take permission from the warden.

Placements of the college are very well. Nearly 50% of the students were placed when compared to the previous year, and it has increased by 8%. Many companies like Infosys, Accenture, CTS, Renault, Solitron, Maruthi, Mitsubishi, and Tata consultancy, etc., visit  college for recruitment. All the companies which are present in India, visit the campus to recruit the freshers. More intakes are there in CSE and mechanical department. Also, higher education is offered in CSE department. This is one of the best colleges for chemical engineering than other colleges due to good staff.

Infrastructure: The college provides good Wi-Fi speed on the campus. The quality of labs is good. They provide good coaching for students who are interested in sports.

Yes , the mobile phones arent allowed for first year student sometimes the seizure takes place if the students use it.

other restrictions are as follows:

• wifi restrictions
• dress code for girls and boys
• only canteen food , hostel food  not any sort of outside food.
• strict security
• ban of cellphones till third year for girls.

For the Kongu Engineering college, the cutoff for genral category is 44-10124. If you have the rank in the range then for sure you can go for the college. If not you can choose for other courses and apply for them too.

for OBC the rank range is:- 10133-10574.

Mostly the closing rank for every branch is quite high so that any medimumly performed candidate can take an admission.
