reasonable fee amount.
.......
One of the best college in Delhi. You'll learn Hell a lot from there
Yes, the college has the necessary infrastructure and equipment needed for proper practicals and lectures to be carried out. Since, it’s a college in DU, it has the basic requirements like practical labs, libraries, sports centres, hostels, projectors, etc but not the smart technology equipments. Last but not the least, the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am currently pursuing Bcom Honours because I have always been inclined towards Commerce. The quality of teaching is quite good for it is one of the top institutions of India. Yes, the curriculum is well-updated and makes you job ready and majority of the people do end up with a placement after graduation.
The quality of placements is pretty good at LSR. Majority of the people get placed after graduation, the highest salary package offered that I heard about was 40 LPA. Average salary package is 8-9LPA which is a decent package to receive immediately after graduation.
My course costs 17K for per year and it’s definitely worth the money because it comes with an amazing campus life and good placements.
The college campus is huge with huge lawns, exhibition halls, open gym, Nescafe, canteen with good quality food, etc. The college has good and supportive staff and teachers. It is very near to Moolchand Hospital and also, a police station. It has markets nearby as well, stating that the college is located strategically.
NA
The college has good infrastructure, it has a spacious building with all the facilities like sports , canteen , classrooms, labs , wifi facilities. Overall everything is being provided in the college campus.
Good academics , being a part of Delhi University the college has updated curriculum, the course structure is designed according to the need and demands of jobs nowadays , the faculties are also very nice.
A very good campus placements are provided, various companies visit the college campus for on campus placements hence providing students great opportunity to get placed in different good salary offering companies.
Worth it
Good campus life
No
My college has all necessary and Basic facilities and equipment. We have tutorial classrooms for tutorials. Library is superb also we have reference Library where we can sit and study as long as much we want.
Professors here are very good, they teach us so well, we also study thru weekly ppts and movies related to syllabus, lectures are very interactive. Also some of our teachers talk to us regarding our personal life, they tries to build good relation with students.
As I am from history honours I don't know much about the placements just in this course, but i have heard you get fantastic placements here if you're in any other course except BA or BA hons. But you'll get so many opportunities in this college, which will help you in getting good job.
My fees is only 15k per year, its very much affordable and value for money. And according to me fee is less than some one can expect, college provides so much facilities.
Campus Life hi fabulous, here it feels like it's your world, you live your life on your own, you feel freedom, here the cafeteria is also good which provides good and tasty food in very much affordable price, aslo we have Nescafe....my day never starts without coffee in college.
You'll find everything so peaceful and beautiful here, there are so many points and corners where you can sit and chill with you friends, play music and dance.
Yes , our college has all the basic necessary facilities . All are very well maintained and accomodation system। is very safe for students. Everyone is very helpful. The infrastructure are well praised.
Teachers are very helpful here. The university provides students home like environment. Every student is under the proper guidance of teachers. For academics it is a very great college definitely. Teachers take lectures regularly.
It has not a very good placement rate. But, eligible students definitely get an internship if they have a good resume. College also supports students to take full part in internships. Average salary Is Rs.3 LPA
The course fees is Rs.12000 per year.
Very good. Campus faculties are full sppportive and friendly.
Great experience
The campus is beautiful. The buildings are well-maintained and hygienic. This college is accessible and inclusive due to the availability of ramps and lifts. Free WiFi is available but is not always reliable. Your phone's own data works in almost all spots of the campus but sadly, not everywhere. The library is equipped with a user-friendly data filing system which makes it easy for the users to find the books they need. We also have photocopying spots and a book store (also stationery).
I am studying BA English Hons and the faculty is amazing. The professors are always there to help you even beyond academics. The syllabus curated by the University of Delhi is holistic, following a proper order which makes it comprehensive. The whole faculty of the English Department is highly qualified and the lectures are always interesting. The level of pedagogy available here transforms a student into an intellectual and a scholar, ready for the real world.
We have a Placement Cell. I would say the placements are pretty good though it all depends on what course you are pursuing. BA Economics, Commerce, Statistics, and Mathematics usually rake in the most placement offers while English, BA Programme, Psychology, and Journalism also do pretty good. The highest salary package for the year 2019-2020 was 30 LPA with the average package being 9.4 LPA. I haven't yet been evaluated for any placements so I don't have experience in the evaluation process.
Since it is a government-affiliated university, the annual fee is not that high. During offline classes, the annual fee was around Rs. 16,000 while after the outbreak of COVID-19, online classes happened and the fee was reduced to somewhere around Rs. 7000. While there are people in the college who cannot afford even Rs. 7000 annually, I believe my financial status was not inconvenienced by this much money. Given the opportunities that this college offered me, I believe it was value-for-money.
The college is always buzzing with activity. Every corner has some event going on. All the students grab at these opportunities to learn. The societies offer exposure but the dynamics can become toxic. Life sometimes becomes overwhelming and hard to balance. You feel competitive. The seniors are always polite to freshers, the professors are supportive, and the support staff is helpful. LSR is near Moolchand metro station. The back-park region is not entirely safe (few cases of flashers) but ok.
Lsr is famous for its red walls , greenery and infrastructure.Library is equipped with all needy resources . Hostels have wifi ,smart boards to adapt new technology.Cafe of LSR is well known for its tasty and hygienic food.
Teachers focus more on practical knowledge rather than theoritical knowledge.Their way teaching have even online classes interesting.Analytics and practical methods are used to explain us concepts which makes the topic very interesting.
Our Seniors have received amazing annual packages from placement cell . There are various trainings by which one can improve their skills and hence can crack interview.Placemebt cell also provides amazing fellowship opportunities.
Yaa college has made us realized the value of money . Also it is financially affordable and equipped with resources. Cutoffs are sky high to get admission in this college but once it's done you are on the way to learn many things.
It is amazing and definitely so exploring . Campus are so green and big lanes give us the feel of spaciousness which is indeed enjoyed by every lsrian . Also Lsr is a place for tourism due to its incredible beauty.
As much as we have heard from are seniors and professors, the gardens are quite refreshing. Whereas the wi fi doesn't work very well. There are two buildings, it has a lift too. Birds makes the vicinity more joyful.
The college is known for it's academic excellence. Big names like Gita Gopinathan, Gauri Khan, Tina Dabi are some of the famous alumnus. The place will ignite the feminist and humanist in you. Professors regularly take classes. At times certain professors can be disappointing.
The college has more than average placement outcomes. Placement and Internship cell is at your service. They provide you with the information regarding all the internships. Your email will be filled with e-mails of internships.
It is for sure value for money. The fees is 16000/ year.
Don't expect much.
This esteemed institution is known for it's academic excellence. All thanks to the warm and experienced faculty. Due to the pandemic, current first yearers have not experienced college's vicinity and hence commenting on college infrastructure wouldn't be right.
Not been to college yet. So can't comment much. But great emphasis is laid on campus cleanliness and hygiene. Campus is quite eco friendly and it has adopted stray dogs too suggesting it supports animal welfare!! Campus has a big library which is resourceful when it comes to writing research papers. Campus is spacious and attractive.
I am studying literature, the quality of teaching here is par excellence, which is clearly reflected from the strong alumni network and the successful graduates which colleges produces. Professors are really understanding and enthusiastic and talking about myself they have given me a new approach towards problem solving. Curriculum is to the mark and apart from this you are engaged in extra readings which helps you get better understanding of the texts and eventually makes research work easier!!
Placements are worth doing. It gives you a new exposure to work with renowned institutions and organisations and enhances your personality and professional skills, which further counts to build on a strong profile for you. Apart from this there is a thing called "lsr magic", almost every graduate here gets a good placement for a desired pay-scale.
Since its a government affiliated college, fees are not that high and the education we get worth more than what we pay.
Not been to college yet, can say much. But we have different cells and societies through which students can engage in the activities they like. Teachers are supportive and encouraging at the same time. Also it provides a women friendly environment and trust me this institution will help you figure out your direction in life.
If you planning to apply, go ahead and All the best!!
Infrastructure is upto the mark in most aspects. The labs could use an upgrade to latest systems and software. Other than that very clean campus, accessible for persons with disability, library facilities upto the mark, classrooms are good, two buildings, amphitheatre, auditorium, lawns, canteen etc. Hostel facilities however need a severe upgrade. Not upto the mark in terms of capacity or quality. The college administration is also uncooperative.
Academically intensive and upto the mark. Academics are given equal importance and quality of faculty is good in most departments. There is scope for better time allocation so that students interested in extra curriculars do not have to suffer on the academic front.
Placement Cell is hard working and provides support to students. There is a need to increase accessibility for students and also diversity in profiles offered. Other than that there is no dearth of opportunities on campus.
Affordable fees, under 20,000 per year without hostel. Hostel fees around 6-7k per month. Options for freeships and scholarships available for students who need them. The entire experience is worth the money.
Campus Life is good in terms of opportunities and exposure to diverse people and experiences. Peaceful and conducive environment. However, sharp divides of accessibility exist among students. The environment can get overly competitive and pressurising at times. Improvement on these issues is imperative. The college administration is also severely uncooperative of the students.
Transformative experience for me. All credits to the students of LSR.

Yes, you do need to give the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) exam to get into Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) in New Delhi for a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
The University of Delhi (DU), under which LSR falls, has mandated CUET for admissions to all undergraduate programs since the 2023 academic year. This includes B.A. (Hons.) Psychology at LSR.
You need to register for the CUET exam online at the official CUET website.
During registration, choose the relevant subjects for B.A. (Hons.) Psychology at LSR. It might involve subjects like Psychology, English, and a general test.
The specific subjects and their weightage might change year-to-year, so refer to the official LSR website or the latest CUET information booklet for the most up-to-date details.
