The Placement Cell of L.J.D Law College coordinates with the past and potential recruiters and invites them to conduct placement drive at the campus. Students are well trained so that they can hone their skills and meet up to corporate expectations. The detailed admission process of L.J.D Law College is given below:
Inviting the recruiters and fixing dates: The placement cell invites the companies by via e-mail and welcomes the interested companies to conduct the recruitment drive and then fixes dates with various recruiting companies who are interested in conducting the placement drive and the slots are designated to them according to the availability.
Registration: Candidates have to register separately for each company for each company’s placement drive they want to be a part of.
Delivery of Pre Placement Talk by the company: Companies visiting L.J.D Law College for conducting placement drive delivers a pre-placement talk so that they are well aware of the basic policies followed by the company. This two-way communication helps the students to clear all the queries and they can interact with each other on a common platform.
Shortlisting of enlisted candidates: Cvs of the candidates will be shortlisted based on academic requirements demanded by the recruiters, participation of the students in extracurricular activities, etc.
Aptitude Test Conducted by Recruiters: After the delivery of the pre-placement talk by the recruiting company, written tests are taken by the recruiters such as Aptitude Test, Psychometric Test, Technical Test, etc. so that they can get an idea about the knowledge and I.Q of the students and can shortlist them for the further placement process.
Group Discussion: Students clearing the written test further moves to the next stage of the recruitment process that is Group Discussion and candidates have to voice their opinion and present their thoughts in front of the interviewers on a given topic in a group.
Interview: After qualifying the group discussion, candidates have to qualify the interview taken by the companies that helps the recruiters to get an idea of the overall personality of the potential candidate.
Final Selection and job Offer: The company will shortlist the students who qualify all the stages during the recruitment drive and the college will be handed over the final list of candidates who have been selected as an employee in the company and candidates who are finally selected by the company are offered jobs and they are given job offer letter that has all the necessary information such as the date of joining, salary break up, taxable and non-taxable allowances, company terms and policies, etc and after the job offer is made, and then the selected candidate gives his/her acceptance to the job offer.
Placement quality is average. Various law firms recruit students from campus. But the number of the students that get placed is not that much. internship opportunity is very good . In the positive side you will get all support from your college.
