LMITM Lucknow Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Lucknow Model Institute of Technology and Management (LMITM) is a top-notch institute in Lucknow that carries a reputation for quality engineering education. The admission process in LMITM holds fair and transparent so as to enable competent candidates to get through the engineering programs. LMITM, as approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), conforms to the international standards of technical education.

Most of the admissions that LMITM offers are through the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic, popularly called JEECUP. This entrance is very vital for an aspirant to engineering since it involves counseling for admission. Students doing B.Pharma will also have their entrance exam scores taken into consideration by the institute for programs related to them.

The students that meet the criterion for pursuing an undergraduate engineering program should have passed their 10+2 examination while meeting the following: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects.

Application Process

The steps that comprise the application process for admission to LMITM include the following:

1. JEECUP Registration: The first step for the applicants is to register online on JEECUP's official portal and fill out the online application form to pay the prescribed examination fees for the JEECUP exam.

2. JEECUP Examination: The applicants are supposed to take the JEECUP exam on the day set for the examination that will test their knowledge built around Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.

3. Result Declaration: After the test, students must wait for JEECUP to declare the results, usually available on the JEECUP official website.

4. Counseling Registration: The next step for the eligibility candidates is to register for counseling processes where the choice of colleges and courses is also included.

5. Document Verification: Candidates whose names appeared in the merit list will possibly be asked to present the following documents for verification:

• JEECUP score card
• Marksheets and certificates of 10th and 12th
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate (if needed)
• Recent passport-size photographs

6. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allocated on the grounds of the applicant's performance in the JEECUP and choices made in his or her counseling.

7. Fee Payment: The confirmatory admission process of candidates can commence only after conspicuous payment of fees in case the seat earmarked for him/her is confirmed at LMITM.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Tech Programs: There are six full-time B.Tech programs at LMITM. Every program is for a total of four years and presently, programs are mainly admitting students based on their performance in the JEECUP examination specifically. LMITM, therefore, has a total approved intake of 210 students for all these B.Tech programs. The respective B.Tech programs along with their intake details are given below:

1. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering: 60
2. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering: 30
3. B.Tech in Information Technology and Engineering: 30
4. B.Tech in Civil Engineering: 30
5. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering: 30
6. B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 30

Candidates qualifying through the JEECUP space must attend the counseling process for obtaining the admission to the above programs. Usually, the minimum merit requirement for B.Tech programs considers that a candidate must secure 50% (45% for the reserved category) marks in the qualifying examination on the 10+2 level compulsory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
