Hostel and college’s infrastructure is neither too bad nor too good. It's only average with most of the windows being broken, fans are slow in the classrooms and the classrooms don’t have AC availability. Wi-Fi is also very bad in both the hostel and the college.
The teachers are well-educated and qualified. The course curriculum for the B.Tech. in Computer Science is also very good. The teacher provides the theoretical and practical knowledge of the coursework. It is very easy to pass the university exam because the coursework at the college is very helpful.
Almost 80% of the students in college are placed in the top companies. Many students got internships with the pre-placement offer from the top IT companies. The average salary package offered to students is 4 LPA to 6 LPA.
The infrastructure at MPCT is quite decent, and everything is maintained in a proper manner and checked on a weekly basis. There is WiFi in the labs but not in the classrooms, which I think is a good thing. There are three canteens in MPCT, and a mess is also available. Sports events are conducted every year.
The professors at MPCT are well qualified in their respective fields. They are always ready to support the students in every manner. The course curriculum is provided by the university. The semester exams are as difficult as the university exams, and the passing percentage is 70%.
Around 70% of eligible students get placed. The highest package was 49 LPA, the lowest was 3.2 LPA, and the average was 5.2 LPA. Goldman Sachs was the top recruiter. About 90% of students get internships, with the top roles being SDE developer and cybersecurity engineer.
Labs are fine in an air-conditioned room. But few classrooms have smart ways of teaching, like smart TVs and projectors. Only labs have Wi-Fi facilities, and classrooms do not have any internet facilities. There are few cultural activities and they charge high prices for students.
Teachers guide you well if you need support from them. They have at least their masters degree in there respective fields with more than 5 years of experience. Most of the teachers give bookish knowledge but some teachers encourage students to participate in technical events.
Decent placement with top recruiting companies like Informatica, HCL, etc. Also with startups like Cedcoss, Nashtech and many other sales-associated companies. The highest package is 11.8 LPA and the average is around 2.5 LPA. Most of the students got internships for different companies. Other top roles are GET and SDE intern roles.
It was good but some improvements were expected. It has all the ameneties expected like library, computer centre, sports complex. When I was studying there, there was a good maintenance of the overall infrastructure.
I was a BE computer Science student. The course design for all the subjects was updated and the teaching methods used by the faculty was quite helpful. The overall learning environment was very interactive.
Respactable companies like TCS visit each year for recruiting students. The average package offered was a bit low amounting to around 6-7 lpa. However, few of the companies also offer 14-16 lpa. The procedure includes written test followed by interview.
