College Infrastructure
This college is located at the heart of the city in Kodambakkam and this is one of the main advantages found since travelling is easy from various locations even though there is no transport facilities. The institution offers decent placements however its was considered to be even better earlier. The people, atmosphere is akin to school and is the food is really good despite only veg is available. Not only that , the best part is the college clubs I was part of the Web development and E-Sports club of the college and this was the place where I really got exposed to different I.T sectors.
It is an ideal college for pursuing a B.TECH in Information

Our department has a well-established infrastructure. In our departments, we have eight computer laboratories with high-end computers. Every required application is available on the computer, allowing us to build abilities in a variety of ideas.

The college has an amazing infrastructure. We have eight computer labs in our departments with more than 500 computers. All kinds of software are available in the computer which enables us develop skills in various concepts. The classrooms are big and spacious

Hello student,
As per my knowledge there is no such rule to admit any student to second year directly. However in some cases if the college to college transfer is going on for example if any students apply for transferring to another college under the same University and the same stream then maybe one can do that but otherwise not.
Also there is another way if you are doing your diploma degree. Then after completion of diploma degree to just can give ECET or JELET or other State wise examination to get admission in two directly 2nd year of engineering. Hope this will help you .

Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College, Chennai (MSEC) is a private engineering college located in Kodambakkam, Chennai. The college was established in 2001 has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
