MES College of Engineering and Technology, Kunnukara (MESCET) is an established college with quality education in different streams of engineering. The Ernakulam-based college has a systematic admission process, which is to a great extent controlled by the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). MESCET is an AICTE-approved institution, which implies its courses are national standards of technical education.
To be considered for admission to MESCET's B.Tech courses, candidates should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
KEAM is the only entrance test that is accepted by MESCET for B.Tech admission. The test is to test the knowledge of the candidates in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates are suggested to prepare for KEAM seriously as their marks here will be very important to get admission in MESCET.
Application Process
The procedure for applying to MES College of Engineering and Technology, Kunnukara, is as follows:
1. KEAM Registration: The first step is to register for the KEAM exam on the official website of KEAM. This includes filling an online application form and remitting the examination fee.
2. KEAM Examination: Appear for the KEAM exam on the given dates (April 24-28, 2025) online mode. Study well by going through the KEAM syllabus and last year's question papers.
3. KEAM Result: Wait for the declaration of KEAM results. The result is generally posted on the official KEAM website.
4. Counselling Registration: If selected, register for KEAM counselling process. This involves choice filling, where candidates specify their preferred colleges and courses.
5. Allotment: Seats are assigned to candidates according to KEAM rank and filled options. In case assigned a seat at MESCET, proceed to the next step.
6. Document Verification: Proceed to MESCET for document verification. Carry all necessary documents, including:

8. Confirmation of Admission: Pursue any pending formalities as directed by the college administration for final admission.
Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech: Five full-time B.Tech courses are offered by MESCET with their own admission procedure on the basis of KEAM performance. The courses offered are:
1. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats)
2. B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (60 seats)
3. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (30 seats)
4. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (30 seats)
5. B.Tech in Civil Engineering (30 seats)
For all these B.Tech programs, the admission process is mostly complete on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the KEAM entrance examination. The candidates should pass in KEAM and secure the cutoff marks that the college sets for a specific course. The actual cutoff marks are different based on the course as well as depending on the competition prevailing in a specific year.
