To be eligible for B.E./B.Tech courses at NSCET, Theni, candidates must meet one of the following criteria, pass the 10+2 examination in the science stream with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) or Pass a Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates). Additionally, candidates must qualify for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) exam.
For M.E./M.Tech courses at NSCET, Theni, candidates must have passed a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in the relevant field or obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.
