Application Process 

Application Procedure to Noorie School and College of Nursing is as follows in order to avoid unqualified applicants.

1. Documents Attached: Along with the application form, which must be submitted completely, other supporting documents should be attached. The list includes

  • Mark sheet for 10th and 12th standard
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate, if necessary
  • Caste certificate, if necessary
  • Recent passport-size photographs

2. Entrance Examination: For that program and as per state rules, candidates would be appearing at the entrance examinations. Syllabus and pattern for the same shall be intimated by the college.

3. Preparation of merit list: After aggregating performance at academics along with entrance exams, wherever applied, the college draws a list of merits upon such candidates that are eligible.

4. Interview / Interview counseling : Students will have interviews / counselling for selection among short listed ones. By interviewing them the college assesses aptitude in and dedication toward nursing.

5. Pay Fee: Then candidates to get admission into colleges will pay stipulated fee. That time one must ensure proper payments, thus a successful guarantee to secure.

6. Paper verification process: Finally colleges extensively verify their very own submitted paper before getting its authentication, in other words admissions, by their institutions.

7. Orientation: Normally orientation program is required from the college administration to familiarize newly admitted students about college campus, course structure and other rules and regulations.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing- Noorie School and College of Nursing: B.Sc Nursing in this college is an undergraduate four-year course, approved with an intake of 55 seats. Admission is strictly according to merit based on marks obtained in the 10+2 examination with science subjects including any entrance as prescribed by the state nursing council or the college.

GNM is General Nursing and Midwifery. The GNM course is a diploma course with an approved intake of 50 seats. It is usually a three-year course, but it can be a four-year course also. This course is generally for those who complete their 10+2 education. At times, it also considers 10+2 marks and any relevant entrance exam scores.

M.Sc Nursing: Specializations available are Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonatal Nursing. Each of these specializations is approved for an intake of 5 seats. Admission to the programs is through a B.Sc Nursing degree with entrance examination and interview process.

Post Basic B. Sc Nursing It is for RNs who want their qualifications enhanced. It is accredited for a take-off intake of 30 students. Eligibility usually involves diploma in GNM and registration with the Council of Registered Nurses and Midwives (RN & RM).

Msc in community health nursing is Master of science in community Health Nursing. It is 2 year post graduation program . The  Minimum Eligibility for which is a BSC Nursing degree attained with a minimum aggregate score if 55% and a year work experience at least.
Admission to this based on the candidates performance in a relevant entrance test such as PGIMER and subsequent round round of counselling.
