The college infrastructure is overall good, it does lack some maintenance. There are all the necessary laboratories and they are well equipped. The hostels are in good condition and the mess food is also good and hygienic.
The faculties of the college are really good and experienced in their fields. However the classes need to be conducted with more regularity and sincerity. The syllabus could use some up gradation to be more in line with the industry demands.
The college provides pretty average placements and it needs to work to give students better placement to students with good packages. For my batch, that is the batch of 2017, the highest package of the college was around 10LPA. The common recruiters of the college are companies like Wipro, TCS etc.
The yearly fee of the college was around 93,000 for my batch. It has definitely increased a bit since then. However, if you compare the semester fee of the college to other private colleges you can safely conclude that it is not very expensive and hence the college does provide good value for money.
You will experience an outstanding college life here. A multitude of events are organised round the year for the students to display and polish their talents. There is a club for almost every field of interest like photography club and a lot of technical clubs too. The best part about the college life is the annual techno management fest, where you are sure to have a great time. The faculties and the seniors are also really very helpful and friendly.
Overall, I would like to add that you will have a good experience in this college and will surely be able to grab a good job with good salary if you are smart and work hard for it as placement from this college doesn't come easily. You can surely choose to study in this college as it is one of the best private engineering college of Orissa.
Infrastructure is average. But maintainance nahi hota hai.. but phir bhi College is average. College auditorium is the best place of this college.. auditorium seems like heaven. And the Av hall too. Classes are in average condition.
Not too good. The electronic and electrical branch is too sincere branch and the cse branch too. I am a cse students. Lab are average. Quality of teaching is average. But by the help of senior on can achieve many things.
Student give their own efforts. teacher support them. But student do everything own their own. Placement is also average. Sometimes silly silly students get job very easily because they have scored good marks.
Not good
No

The infrastructure of this college is not so good. There is no platform for any extracurricular activities. The classrooms here are also not so good. There is only one library which is quite small and it opens very rarely and occasionally. There is no smart board here and the WiFi here is very slow which is of no use.Living spaces are rarely cleaned and the food here is not so tasty and hygienic. The facilities here is also very bad.No classrooms and laboratories are well maintained.
The quality of teaching here is very bad. There are only very few qualified and well experienced teachers. There is lack of proper platform for learning and experiences.mist of the teachers are not well qualified and they fail to give proper knowledge in their respective subjects. The college curriculum is often updated very lately and does not include recent developments in respective fields.I donor think so that the study here makes any one job - ready.
The placements here few years back was very good. But in present the placement has fallen down in our college. There is no on-campus placement.Everything has become off campus only. There was only about 30 percent students placed this year which is very very low.The highest salary offered was 5 Lacs per annum.
Worst college ever.Lack of proper learning platform and experience.our college takes 99 thousand annually for academics which is quite high. But we are not getting our money's worth as there is nothing here to be satisfied upon.Neither proper classes nor proper teachers.Neither facilities nor any extracurricular activities.most importantly it doesn't have enough teachers for proper education and knowledge which makes it count as worst college.
Campus life is also not so good .The college campus is not worth it.There is no activity that a student can do or engage in.The students here are little bit supportive and the teachers though not so experienced may help us.But the location is not safe as it is situated in a isolated area full of dense trees .It cannot handle emergencies because it's location is very bad.
I would recommend that please don't waste money and time by taking admission in this college.Students here who have took admission are regretting every second of their life.so don't waste your money and time and don't take admission here.
Orissa Engineering college was on top in early days. It's infrastructure is very poor. It is not maintained for a long time. After cyclone Fani hits, everything is messy there. There is classrooms, libraries, laboratories, computer labs but softwares are outdated, well designed labs in every branch but not maintained. CCTV cameras are available. WiFi is available in hostels but their speed is very low, sometimes in night it reaches upto 2Mb/s.
I am studying B.Tech (CSE) . I am a 2nd yr student. Well qualified teachers had already left the college, few are left. Classes are not conducted . Students have to prepare for exams themselves ,even labs are not conducted. This study can't make anyone job ready.
No campus placements ,only off-campus placements are going on. Placement percentage is low approx 30% in CSE branch and IT branch and null for other branches. Average salary is about RS 2.5 lakhs per annum. Highest package offered is approx Rs 5 lakhs this year.
B.Tech Computer Science branch costs upto RS 95,600/yr i.e. approx 3.8 lakhs per course. Yearly hostel fees including mess is approx Rs. 65,000. Mess food is not good and same for study. I feel I am not getting my money 's worth.
Being honest, there is nothing best part left in my college. Students can take part in annual sports, college fest but these aren't conducted from this year. Reason is the lack of funds to run this college , teachers and staffs aren't getting their salary.
My experience is very bad in this college. I will not recommend this college to anyone. Teacher and staffs are not getting salary, that's why classes are not conducted and we students are suffering a lot.
