College washrooms are pathetic . But sports ground is very good . Classrooms are average . There is no wifi , no smart boards. Canteen is built good but their food quality is below average . But overall it is average
The faculty of my course is not at all good except a few teachers but Some of my friends in commerce department told me that their faculty is very good . Overall if we see the college faculty is average .
Placements are average and they also depend upon self ability. But If you are a good student you can crack 10-12 lpa’s package. That’s what I heard. Packages are best for statistics hons and economics hons.
Campus life is good if you have good friends. Many events are also conducted time to time so it enhances college life
college is well good. PGDAV isn't that big and doesn't provide hostel facilities . we have a small library in our college and a small sports ground. the best part about our college is its location . it is south campus of DU so you can visit many places after college
the academics of PGDAV is pretty good. teacher give us many theories and questions to solve. although the attendance criteria is quite hard but in short the academics is good and im sure you would enjoy studying in this college.
you dont get that good placement after doing basic course in PGDAV. like the highest over here was 5.5 lpa. after completing your degree you will have to pursue higher studies for a good job . if u want campus placement then this college isnt for you
the annual fee is very low so i can say value for money
Pgdav college Infrastructure college has a decent infrastructure with well -equipped classes, a library and computer laboratories. However, some areas require some maintenance and the campus is also not very large, but it is well maintained.
Academist Experienced professors and academics with a structured course are good. Faculty is good, but students need to be self-inspired. College emphasizes skill development through various seminars, workshops and keeps their full focus on digital learning
Placement Placements in our college are average, mainly for courses like B.com and BBA. Some reputed companies travel, but most students have to find jobs on their own & had to do hard in their academics to get opportunities. The placement cell is improving, but still has space for development.
value for money PGDAV is one of the more affordable colleges at the University of Delhi. The fee structure is appropriate, and for the quality of education provided, it is worth the money.
Campus life Campus life is normal, in which many societies and events are taking place throughout the year. Fest, cultural activities and student club college make life enjoyable. As it is not a very large campus, it cannot offer many open spaces as other colleges.

Infrastructure of our college is very much good it has big ground and sports facilities, canteen and library area is best as it is fully AC enabled campus is small but it has focused academic environment every type of basic facility is available here
As I'm studying bcom it is best course offered by the college plus faculty is best as I'm at end of 3rd semester and from my experience towards teachers are best the availability of books and other study material were good
Placement in our college is average college has placement cell that works actively to connect students with various facilities of internships and placement offers.overall students personally also do something to find the opportunities
Fees here is quite reasonable around 13-15k per year which is worthwhile
Campus Life is happening enough as there are so many societies and college premises are so good and environment friendly ,near college there are so many hangout spots which I personally like the most plus the canteen area of college is fun place to hangout with delicious food
The classrooms are spacious and well-lit, though not the most modern. Smart classrooms with projectors are available for interactive learning, but not all classes use them regularly. The library is well-stocked with books, research papers, and digital resources, but could use more modern updates.
The studies are good and teaching department as well......... The professor's holding PHD and masters degree....we'll designed courses and opportunities for in depth ............. Staff is also good .
It is also great.....many companies visit the campus to interact with students better placement opportunities with top companies like HDFC and Deloitte coming to campus....the quality of placement is nive
Totally and affordable fees also.... Overall value for money with a strong focus on quality education at a reasonable cost..the tution fees are considered reasonable......making it accessible to a wider range
Many societies in the campus like ELitSoc...drama..debate...dance and all and vibrant mix of academic pursuits and social interaction...... personal growth, and a sense of community....the campus life is nice

PGDAV College is a constituent college of Delhi University. The college has reasonable infrastructure facilities for the B.Com students. Classrooms are clean, and the library contains a good number of journals and books. However, it lacks modernization in some amenities. The campus is small and has a focused academic environment.
The B. Com course is strict, yet it provides a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. The teaching staff is highly friendly, but some students need more interactive classes. Sometimes, workshops and seminars are conducted that add value to the curriculum.
Placement opportunities are decent. Few good companies visit the campus. Most of the roles that are offered are entry-level, and the majority of it is sales, finance, and accounts. Students who are seeking high-profile placements generally prefer internships or additional certifications to upgrade their profiles.
Being a constituent college of Delhi University, the fees for B.Com are relatively low and thus a very good option for quality education at a reasonable price. The students feel that the return on investment is quite satisfactory considering the brand value of DU.
Campus is vibrant with cultural events, societies, and student clubs that make college life enjoyable. From debates to sports and cultural fests, there's something for everyone. The very diverse student population adds to this enriching experience.
PGDAV College doesn't have impressive infrastructure, The campus features spacious classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a modern library. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the cricket, football, and basketball facilities. The clean and hygienic campus ensures a healthy and comfortable atmosphere for students. But at the same time have some problems like classroom not enough to take all those classes so some teachers take online classes or government college take more time if have problem so that's not like anyone because of that I rated 3.5
The faculty at PGDAV College is exceptional, comprising experienced professors who deliver engaging lectures and provide individual attention. Regular workshops and seminars keep students updated on industry trends. Research opportunities abound, and the curriculum is frequently revised to reflect emerging fields. Extracurricular activities receive equal emphasis, fostering holistic development. At the same all those teachers you studies some of them is that you don't like them or they are very rude So for that reason I rated 4.0
PGDAV College's placement cell is not working that the placement cell worked. So if you are looking for placement so this is not for you the placement cell is not working this college is only for complete your degree and go.
PGDAV College offers exceptional value for money, with affordable fees ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 per year. Scholarships are available to deserving students. That is government college it's obviously offer a value for money fee is not so much only the accommodation in delhi is very very high for ay student
PGDAV College's vibrant campus life ensures students have a memorable experience. Cultural events, sports tournaments, and clubs and societies cater to diverse interests. The active student council promotes student engagement. Conveniently located near Metro stations, the campus provides easy access. All is but it's not like that you shown in movies
PGDAV College excels in academics, and value for money, making it an excellent choice for students seeking quality education. While some areas require improvement, the college's strengths outweigh its weaknesses.
Our canteen is very big and spacious, and it is to be known that our college has the biggest canteen at Delhi University. Our college has good labs, classrooms, and a library with all the basic needs to study.
The student teacher ratio is very good as compared to othersTeachers are very good in teaching and teachers are very supportive. The faculty here is the best and the library has all the required supplements.
The placement cell is very good, and they put many efforts for the better career of the students. And college provide highest salary's placements to students so, its a very good opportunity for students.
I opt for this course because I want to make my career in humanities field and its the best course for that. Our college is very good, and it organises many fests and events from time to time

Dear Yaswanth,
Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College is a constituent college of University of Delhi ( PGDAV College). It has various facilities like d igital library, e xcellent cultural societies, go od infrastructure, top notch placement record etc.
B.A hons. Political Science will majorly focus on Political Science subject whereas only studying B.A political Science, you will study all the subjects in equal proportions. The college also works to enhances your skills. I would say Choose your area of interest. Scope wise both (hons. And non hons.) are quite competitive.
Talking about UPSC, it covers all the aspects of every subject you are opting for. Considering this, B.A Political Science would be a better course to choose for as it will cover all your subjects equally rather than just focussing on Political Science.
Rest is your decision. Please choose wisely.
Hope this sorted your query.
All the Best!!
Hi Virat
PGDAV is a good college but placements here are not good. It's accreditation is NAAC B. The faculty here is well qualified. The ranking of college depends upon various factors. However as per previous nirf rankings, this college was not under the list.
But no doubt it is one of the oldest constituent colleges of the top ranking University of Delhi.
