A jewel in the crown of Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, PSV College of Engineering and Technology (PVSCET) boasts of programs in engineering and management ranging from the undergraduate to the postgraduate level and has put into place a well-organized admission process aimed at selecting deserving students for the wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the college. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Thus, students receive quality education in this institution. The admission procedure for the college generally takes place during the months leading to an academic year which is mostly August to September.
An entrance examination at the national level is also given consideration in admission to its engineering courses. An example of this is the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). With this, the college goes further to recognize state-level entrance examinations in admitting students to various programs. For postgraduate study such as MBA, PVSCET would consider Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) because it is also a common entrance test for admission into various management and engineering postgraduate courses in institutions across Tamil Nadu.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech/BE: Some of the B.Tech and BE programs offered by PVSCET include Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cyber Security, and Biomedical Engineering. Admission into these programs is based upon the JEE Main score and performance in the state-level entrance examination. The total intake of students is 540 among the aforementioned programs.
MBA: The MBA program at PVSCET has an intake of 120 seats, and admission is based on TANCET scores. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply.
ME: There are programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Embedded Systems, and Structural Engineering under the ME category, with an intake of 18 students per discipline. The admission procedure for them seems to be based on TANCET scores or other similar postgraduate entrance exams, however specifics are not made available.
Diploma: They also provide diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission may be different from that of the degree courses, possibly based on 10th or 12th standard marks.
