PSV Polytechnic College, Krishnagiri, is a constituent institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The admission procedure in PSV Polytechnic College is well streamlined to make it convenient and enable prospective students to join the college.

PSV Polytechnic College has four full-time diploma programmes, and all four are completed within three years. There is a normal admissions procedure for each programme, but there are certain conditions that students should know for their preferred programme:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: The course specializes in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical devices. Candidates are chosen through their 10th standard or corresponding entrance exams performance, and math and science subjects are of immense significance to them.
Diploma in Civil Engineering: It is a course suitable for all the students who are interested in construction and infrastructure. Admission in this course depends on the candidate's study record in their 10th standard, particularly from physics and mathematics papers.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: It is the blend of electrical and electronic engineering. Admission is given on the performance of the candidate in 10th standard or entrance examination marks depending upon their physics and mathematics abilities.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: Students who are interested in electronic devices and networks of communications are provided with this course with special training. Admission to the course tests the candidate's performance in 10th standard examination or equivalent entrance tests based on the ability they have in science and mathematics.
