Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences admission includes courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. MBBS is the only course available at the UG level. However, MS in Orthopaedics and Anatomy, MDs in General Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Paediatrics, and the like are offered as part of the RIMS PG courses. Appearing and passing the NEET (for undergraduate courses) and NEET PG (for postgraduate courses) is a must and without that candidates can not gain admission to this college. In MBBS, 85% of RIMS seats are reserved under state quota whereas 50% of seats in the case of PG courses. Candidates are advised to meet the required RIMS eligibility criteria first and then begin with the application. Notification regarding admission to MBBS and MD/MS courses is released every year by the NTA (National Testing Agency).

Candidates must satisfy the specified eligibility criteria as their initial step.

Once candidates clear the cutoff, they can start the application process through online counselling.
The allocation of seats will be determined based on the scores achieved in the entrance examination.

5 passport-size photos.
Soft copies of all documents (each document to be scanned and named in separate files in pdf format and passport size photo in jpeg format) in pen drive.
The students are informed to submit the original certificates shown above with 3 sets of attested Xerox copies of all documents without fail along with 3 affidavits (annexure 1 [part 1& part 2], annexure – 9).
Note: The above-listed documents are required to be submitted to the college before the due date, failing to do so will result in seat cancellation. The reservation norms as specified by the state government are followed in seat allocation.
I am studying MBBS 1st year and I am at the end of my academic year. With my experience here I think the quality of teaching is best and i can learn by the well qualified teachers of high profession. Yes the study of medicine is a noble profession where after we become doctors we need to treat people.
