Rajeev College of Nursing, Hassan. It is one of the most well-known standalone nursing colleges in Karnataka. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs with a wide array of options to serve the diverse needs of the profession. The admission process at Rajeev College of Nursing is to find and select qualified and committed students for its nursing programs. 

It has a total of eight full-time courses on offer, which fall under different categories of nursing training: B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing in different specializations, and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).All programs have different eligibility criteria for admission. For example, undergraduate courses such as B.Sc. Nursing entail a 10+2 qualification from a recognized institution with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 

Application Process 

Application Process for Rajeev College of Nursing, Hassan

1. Fill up the application form accurately and completely. All personal and academic details need to be included.

2. Attach all relevant documents, such as:

• Passport size photographs
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
• Transfer certificate from the last attended institution
• Character certificate
• Caste certificate, if applicable
• Any other document required by the college

3. Pay application fee as demanded by the college.

4. Submit completed application form with all documents and the application fee in the admission office of the college before the last date of the application submission date.

5. For PG programmes, applicants might have to face an entrance test and/or interview for finalizing the candidature.

6. The short listed candidates will be called for informing selection and further formalities of admissions.

7. The selected students have to present all the admitted documents along with fee payment receipt within the date to confirm a seat in any college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Nursing: The course is an undergraduate degree which has four years of study intake capacity is 50. Eligibility: Any entrance test prescribed by the State Nursing Council or college besides candidate's performance in qualifying exam 10+2

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: The course offered to the registered nurses having the intake of 40 seats. Completed GNM or any equivalent nursing qualification is considered eligibility for this course.

M.Sc. Nursing: The college has also offered M.Sc. Nursing with specializations such as Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing. For every specialisation, there are 5 seats. Admission will be made according to the merit of the candidate in B.Sc. Nursing and will also depend on entrance tests conducted by the college or respective state authorities.

General Nursing and Midwifery GNM: Three-year diploma programme with an intake of 40 seats. The admissions usually take place according to the merit list of 10+2 exams, but the students who have completed the science stream are preferred more.
