The courses at the RGESAMCH have been designed in such a way that it selects the most deserving candidates for its various programs through admission.
Generally, the admission cycle for RGESAMCH will be in tune with national-level entrance exams. For undergraduates, it is based on NEET scores, and postgraduates depend on NEET PG scores. The academic session generally starts during August-September, and admission starts a couple of months in advance. For the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course, considered to be the flagship for the institute, candidates should have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and biology as core subjects. Candidates for MD and MS postgraduate programs are eligible if they have a BAMS degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
NEET is the entrance exam for BAMS admissions. It is a 10+2 level exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For postgraduate courses, the qualifying exam is NEET PG, which tests the knowledge acquired during the BAMS program. Candidates are advised to prepare well for these exams, focusing on the prescribed syllabus and solving previous years' question papers.
Application Process
"Admission to Rajiv Gandhi Education Society's Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Rona is open on the following terms for the Undergraduate and post graduate program respectively,
BAMS Programme
1. Has passed NEET exam with valid score.
2. Provided that, student has applied for counseling either at the State or All India level as the case may be.
3. In counselling, opts for RGESAMCH as preferred college".
4. If seat allotted, join the college for verification of documents and admission procedure.
5. Fee Payment along with appropriate fee and then the admission finally
For MD/MS Courses
1. Will appear for NEET PG and gets qualified.
2. Registration for counseling by the concerned authority.
3. Counseling by which one can opt for his /her desired course or institute RGESAMCH, etc.
4. In case he or she is eligible, get to the college for the works that have to be done on account of verification and admission; this is to be followed by fee payment.
5. It is the procedure also for getting admission.
Degree wise Admission Process
BAMS: At RGESAMCH, The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery can accommodate 60 students. For admission, merit is considered after the NEET score, where counseling is done. A total of 5.5 years is devoted to the period, including internship for one year.
MD/MS Programs : RGESAMCH offers multiple postgraduate programs; the intake will be 6 students in all the programs below:
Admission to these courses is through NEET PG scores. Candidates must have completed their BAMS degree and should qualify in the NEET PG examination. The selection process may include counseling based on the NEET PG rank.
