Rishikul Government PG Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Haridwar, provides high-standing education in Ayurvedic medicine. The college, which is under the Central Council for Indian Medicine, offers both undergraduate and postgraduate level education in a wide array of Ayurvedic specializations. The BAMS course in  Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is the dominant course of Rishikul Government PG Ayurvedic College and Hospital, an option with an approved intake of 75 students for a full-time course on-the-road for 5.5 years. Since then, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

For the MD/MS programs, in various specialistic branches of Ayurveda, the duration is generally of 3 years. Admission to these programs is based on the result of the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). Following are the  MD/MS courses being provided by the college:

Candidates should have a BAMS degree from a recognized institution and should qualify for AIAPGET for any of the MD/MS programs.
