Diploma in Education (D.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the Department of State Educational Research and Training, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).


Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have passed II P.U.C./12th Std.
  • Must have secured not less than 50% marks in II P.U.C.
  • For SC/ST/C1 and Physically handicapped candidates must have secured not less than 45% marks in II PUC.
  • Must have compulsorily studied any two of the elective subjects in the following combination II PUC

Admission Details

Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT Administration.
