This college have good infrastructure and also have good labs. No hostels is there for local students. Hostels are available for North East students. There is very nice playground. These places are so clean and properly oriented. The outlooks of this college is very beautiful.
I am studying chemistry here because faculties are good and the main thing is lab. Lab is good. The quality of teaching is good. But all the department s are not good . physics, chemistry and biology departments are best here. yeah the curriculum is updated. It's doesn't make sure that your job is ready but here you know the basic thing of your interested subject and makes you confident.
It's a college for graduation degree. No placements is there. More number of students are passing with good marks but no placements is there. But placement should be improved. As I told no placements occurred so there is no question of salary.
Cost of study wasn't very high or low. It's average. A normal students can afford it easily.
I told that there is no hostels. So, no campus life. But those students who are not local, are hired a mess.
Well, i really did enjoy my three years there....teachers were no doubt very warm and knowledgeable... talking abt the infrastructure... it did lack good books in library....requires a bit more maintenance...classrooms requires better furniture...the IT section needs a good support thru installing more computers to support each batch of students.
i studied bcom(hons) there......... teachers were very supportive....knowledgeable...very well informed about the recent developments in this field..........yeah.. the curriculum of calcutta university is very much job oriented..i am happy it has made me ready not only for job but also for various professional courses
no placement facilities when i studied...........i have no idea if it is conducting any....but if it isnt i would request the college authorities to arrange for placement facilities as it does help many who want to find a suitable job
some around within Rs 5000 i completed the three year course including admission cost etc...........yeah it was worth studying..........................................................................
i did enjoy.......it was a memorable one....well i was not that a regular goer but i do have lil good moments there ....................................................................................
The infrastructure is an average one with all basic facilities. The canteen is not that great. The classrooms are in a very normal condition. The wifi was average. There were no smartboards. The living spaces were cleans and nature friendly.
The faculty is very good. The professors are well experienced and knowledgeable. I had persued my b.com in accounting and finance from this college. This can be a great department if the infrastructure is updated.
Placements is something that is not good at all. Hardly there are any placements and there was no offer for placement when i was persuing the course. The placement cell needs a huge improvement so that students graduating form here gets into a good job for a secured future.
Since it is a government college, the college offers great education accirding to the cost we put in.
Campus life has been good enough. There are cultural as well as sports activities yearly. There are annual fest too.
Overall it has beean a good experience. I would recommend this college if anyone wants to go for govt colleges because it is the best among them.
