The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The College Library collection consists of books on all subjects according to the undergraduate syllabus, as well as reference books like an encyclopedia, dictionary, collected works of famous writers, and the like. The Library subscribes to 35 journals and magazines and four newspapers. These are available in the Reading Room. The library has a good collection of current books and journals. It has a collection of old books, magazines, journals, and valuable old maps as well.

Serampore College students have the reputation of performing consistently well in different district-level, state-level, or even in National level sports competitions. Both male and female students have shown their excellence in different inter-college and inter-university sports competitions organized by the University of Calcutta and also by other Universities throughout India. The college has its own sports ground which is looked after by the Games Supervisor. Students are encouraged by the college Authority to participate in different sports events.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college With the technical assistance offered by the Institute of Computer Engineers (India), the Serampore College Computer Centre was established in 1998. Not only the Department of Electronics (DOE) has granted full accreditation to the O level, A level and B level courses, but also the Directorate of Employment, Govt. of West Bengal has recognised the training offered at this Centre as in several colleges and universities in this State. Students who are interested are asked to contact the office concerned at the Computer Centre, located on the second floor of the Bicentenary Block.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Free consultation with medical officers and specialists of all disciplines viz. Eye, Dental, E.N.T., Surgical, Medicine, Skin, Psychiatry, Orthopedic, Gynaecology, Neurology, and Cardiology.
