The campus has adequate facilities and infrastructure for academics and extracurricular activities. The campus has a basketball court, lawn tennis court and a field used for multiple sports like cricket, football, hockey etc. The college also has provision for indoor sports. SBSC Delhi sports facilities help students in refreshing their minds amid hectic schedules.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has a robust IT infrastructure for students. The computer labs of the college have updated systems with the latest software and hardware. Furthermore, the library of the college also has an e-resource for students and faculty members.
Cafeteria
A spacious and well-ventilated canteen is situated at the campus. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College canteen serves a variety of healthy snacks and beverages at subsidised rates. Hygiene is maintained in the canteen mess. The canteen is one of the popular spots for students to hang out and chill.
Auditorium
The institute has two seminar halls and one conference hall. Both seminar halls and conference hall are equipped with modern facilities. College’s seminars, workshops, guest lectures are conducted at the seminar hall.
Alumni Associations
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College alumni association was established in 2010. Currently, there are 1200 members in the alumni association. Various events are conducted by the college alumni association. It also offers a scholarship to the students.
Laboratories
The Department of Commerce and Mathematics has modern computer labs. There are over 115 laptops equipped with various software and applications required as per the course curriculum. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College lab facilities consist of projects and audiovisual systems as well. The Department of Geography also has a dedicated lab.
Convenience Store
The college premises has a photocopy shop for the convenience of the students.

For the convenience of the students and faculty members, the college campus has a branch of the Union Bank of India.

College Infrastructure

Sports infrastructure is not very good and facilities are not sufficient. However, many things are being constructed like an open auditorium. Many computers in the lab do not work properly and need replacement.

Giving a review to my college is quite good.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is not very good. There is no auditorium, many computers in lab do not work. However, the surroundings are clean. There is a big ground but ports facilities are very less. The sports room is open for only few hours.

College Infrastructure

The college is really really good.It has all the necessary infrastructural advancements,the faculty is also very cooperative. It also has all the extracurricular activities to promote each and every kind of interest .

Is SBSC college a good college for bcom program in terms of crowd and exposure than ARSD college?

Dear Dilanshi,

Shahid Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is great in all the aspects. SBSC is accredited by grade 'A' by NAAC . The college has good infrastructure and great facilities too. It provides you with peaceful and happy environment to study. The faculty here is highly qualified and well experienced. I would suggest you to choose SBSC for bright future and yes it is great for pursuing B.com(bachelor's in commerce) program too. Also the p lacement cell of the college has a remarkable record.

Whereas,

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD) college is also accredited grade 'A' by NAAC. College has big lush green campus. This college also has a very active placement cell. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in which BCom hons program has its own good records.

Both colleges have its own popularity and are competitive of each other.

which books have to study for entrance exam english hons ?? SBSC

Hello Harshu,

There is no entrance exam for the admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi, for B.A English honours.

Bachelor of Arts in English is a three-year full-time honors course and offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.

Admission process

Candidates are required to submit the print out of the admission form downloaded from the University of Delhi Web Portal and the set of college forms, for admission to the first year (Semester I) of three Year CBCS Under Graduate Programme. Admission will be done on the basis of merit by the Admission Committee and the Principal.

Eligibility

A student must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
