Hi,
Firstly, we at Careers 360 do not own any private colleges nor we provide any admission to official courses. This is a platform to help students with their queries & problems about different academic topics throughout the country.
Here, I would like to inform you the eligibility criteria & the admission process in various nursing colleges providing GNM course.
Candidates who have cleared 12th boards from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 50% are eligible to apply for the course. Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English should be the core subjects studied in 10+2. Candidates who have completed 12th boards from open schools are also eligible.
There are different nursing entrance exams conducted by various states in the country to select candidates for admission into the nursing colleges. There are also national level entrance exams for studying nursing.
However, there are colleges that offer admission directly to their institution or have a separate college-based entrance exam for students. You need to check the official website of the college & apply for admissions into the course then you will need to upload all the required documents & pay the application fees. After which, wait for the merit list & the counselling process to begin where you will be selected on the basis of competitive merit in 12th board exam or the rank of the entrance exam.
You need to contact the college directly for admissions under management quota. The only drawback to this is the hefty fees charged.
As per your tag of Shova Rani School of Nursing, Kolkata, you can contact the college directly for information on direct admission, fees, etc. Admissions are generally conducted from the time of declaration of 12th board exam results of all boards to the month of September. Since the results came out late this year, surely the admission process must have started & will continue even after September.
Email address of the college: srncprincipal@yahoo.co.in
Hope this helps.
