Shri Guru Mallikarjuna College of Education, Bijapur. A new institution from recent times, yet growing at a rapid pace, specifically focuses on teacher education. The National Council for Teacher Education has accorded recognition to the college. It is a co-educational facility spread over 18 acres of land at Chadchan, Karnataka.

B.Ed: B.Ed is the most primary course at Shri Guru Mallikarjuna College of Education. It is a full-time two-year program intended to help budding teachers to prepare themselves in acquiring all necessary knowledge, skills, and practice experience that may eventually turn out to be great teachers. It has an intake of 50 students every year for this program as sanctioned. Admission to the B.Ed program is strictly merit-based, on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policies of the state government and affiliated university.
