There are 14 hostel blocks for the boys, each with a capacity ranging from 200 to 1000 students. The boy's hostel has a capacity of about 7500 students. The hostel blocks are self-contained units that provide all the basic needs to the students. This allows students to wander around the hostel as little as possible. At SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital, each hostel block provides sufficient opportunities for each individual to grow their personality by cultivating important qualities such as self-confidence, free exchange of ideas, and mutual understanding.

There are 7 blocks dedicated to the girl students, each with a capacity ranging from 250 to 700 students. The girl's hostel has a capacity of about 4000 students. Girls hostel blocks are self-contained units that provide all basic needs to the girl students. Each girls hostel block has all the required facilities.

As the face is the index of a person so is the library for a college. Our college library now has a collection of 4620 volumes of books on a variety of subjects. Some of which are rare & invaluable. utmost care is taken in developing resources for each department. Library is working continuously for 12 hours from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The staff members (1 Librarian, 3 Asst. Librarians) are divided into 2 groups and 2 shift systems are in force.  The total area of the Library is 8233sq.fts.  Our Library Subscribes 88 Periodicals, EBSCO Dentistry Database and has a good collection of latest CDs in various fields. The seating capacity of the library is 200.

The institute has good IT infrastructure facilities for its students.

On campus, SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital sports and recreation facilities include dedicated tennis, basketball, badminton, and yoga courts. Students compete in inter-collegiate, inter-university, and state tournaments regularly and have brought awards for the institute.

This college has in it numerous conference and seminar halls, with Dr.T.P. Ganesan Auditorium topping the list. Dr.T.P. Ganesan Auditorium is one of Asia’s largest auditoriums with a seating capacity of 4000. Spread over a sprawling 7, 89,650 square meters, the SRM campus is not scarce of skyscrapers as well, including the Tech Park and University Administrative Building which are both fifteen-storied high-rise buildings. All the conference halls in the college premises are fully air-conditioned and WiFi-enabled to ensure the best comfort of the audience seated.
