Degree wise Admission Process

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): The college provides a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with an intake of 100 seats. The admission is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and any entrance test conducted by the college or state nursing council.

B.Sc Nursing: St. John's College of Nursing offers a B.Sc Nursing course with 100 seats. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) are eligible to apply. The selection process may include an entrance examination and merit-based admission.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This course is for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications. The intake capacity is 60 students. Candidates must have completed GNM diploma and have experience in the relevant field. Admission is done on merit or entrance test.

M.Sc Nursing: There are different specializations in M.Sc Nursing provided by the college, such as Community Health Nursing with 6 seats, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing with 6 seats, Medical Surgical Nursing with 10 seats, Paediatric Nursing with 6 seats, and Psychiatric Nursing with 7 seats. Admission in these courses generally demands B.Sc Nursing with a minimum percentage of marks required by the college. The process of selection is based on entrance test and interview.
