The college is very well maintained! Having greenery and calming environment to relax for students. The library have everything a book lover wants, with updated newspapers and magazines. Also, the wifi is always available for people in residence, and students as well. The cafe is very neat and well maintained, with healthy foods only. The college uses white boards, safe for the Professors and students, also the environment!
I am studying Programme with combination of Political Science and English. I love both the subjects equally, and the Professors are excellent. They update us with everyday world and help us gain more knowledge, making is ready to face the outside world.
The Placement Cell are excelling their work! They keep students updated by sending them mail everytime there is an opportunity for internship. It helped many of us get opportunities to work and gain experience.
For to course, we need to pay around 25K per semester and for people in residence, reaching 70K. I feel it is worth the money, with the excellent education we get and the great surrounding. Also, there are tutorials for every stream, where every student get a better chance to clear their doubts.
I love my college, with excellent surrounding and loving professors and friends. We can go outside college in free time to Kamla Nagar, ny foot or rickshaw. The only minus about our college for some students is, some students have to travel from far distance in metros which can be tiring. As for the college, it is very safe and no outsider is allowed inside college and no kind of violence takes place.
Any student who wants to fall in love with Books and Nature should go for our college. With friendly people and loving staffs, every student become comfortable and consider it as Home. With morning assembly every morning, it gives students motivation and strength to face a new day with a smile.
The brick lined colonial building of the college, with lush green lawns and calm atmosphere has a unique scenic beauty. Classrooms are air-conditioned and well-lit. The college has a big library, Internet Resource Center (IRC), science laboratories and outdoor & indoor sports facilities. There are 3 girls and 3 boys hostels spread all over the campus, a common mess, and a cafe which serves hygienic food and beverages. The only issue is the washrooms which need proper renovation, and cleanliness.
Academics is the strength of the institute. The institute is focused on creating employable professionals and various societies, events and certifications are provided for the same. We are taught by highly educated faculty who are one of the best in their fields. They are knowledgeable and eager to teach, and also very cooperative with us. Tutorials are held every week to ensure we are thorough with are concepts. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The Placement Cell has always striven to match the repute and the merit that the college stands for. The country's top consultancy firms- McKinsey & Company, A.T. Kearney, Parthenon-EY, and financial sector companies like Morgan, Stanley, Citibank, etc. have been recruiting students from the college. The average pay was around INR 10.4 Lacs per annum. Things like Pre-Placement talks are held to make the placements easy and pleasant. Internship fair is held every year.
Our fees is the highest in the whole of Delhi University. My course cost me INR 40k per year. In our college, fees needs to be paid per semester unlike the other colleges of the university where fees needs to be paid annually. But still, I feel that I'm getting my money's worth since the kind of exposure you get in this institute is worth more than the few more thousands paid for the fees.
There is an amazing positive vibe when you walk around the campus. Learners are all around the lawns, corridors and the cafe which boosts a lively but quiet atmosphere. Students are mostly engaged in society activities as there is one or the other event being held by any of the societies. The location of the college is amazing since it is in the north campus of the university, with access to PGs at a walking distance. The crowd is very talented, with the teachers who are very supportive of us.
It is the best graduation college in India but there are some restrictions in the college which many students don't like. Assembly is held in the morning from Monday to Thursday, which seems fine only till school, though it is a good start for the day. The college fest is not good. Because of too much strictness sometimes, it feels like school in college. But the college is actually the best for the wholesome development of a person.
The infrastructure of the college is amazing all the necessary facilies and equipments are available inside the campus all tge classes have smart class facility all kaboratories are upgraded all libraries have updated curriculam books every floors have wifi and they all used and mainted well too...all the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic
currently i am studying ba here because i am intrested in history the quality of teaching is also of next level here all the teachers are so soft and they have amazing speaking skills all the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development in the field and the content i am studying here really makes me job ready
The quality of placement is also very amazing here almost 98 % of students get placed at the end of every month the highest salary offered is 30 lakh per annum and it goes to one of the students of managment the average salary is around 10-12 lakh per annum the placment process is also very good here
For ba it cost at an average of 35 k per year the environment of college is so calm and clean all the staffs are amazing the content i am studying here is so relatable and they offer practicle classes also so thats why i feel that i am getting my moneys worth here
The campus life is so joyfull almost every student dream of getting this campus life gardens are amazing everything is so neat and clean almost everything is available inside the campus students teachers and the support staff are so kind and helpfull in nature the location is little irritating
The infrastructure is no doubt one of the best in Delhi University, at least among the colleges which I have seen. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. The College hall is amazing. The whole campus structure gives you the essence of British Architecture. I love the campus - lawns are well maintained, the campus is cleaned regularly. The library is also very nice. The WiFi sucks. Hostels are well maintained but the food is not so good ( from reviews of hostlers ). Labs need to be modernenised.
As we all know about the curriculum of Delhi University that how out-dated it is. It needs to be updated very soon. But teachers in our college give their best and rarely cancel any class which does hurt inside :-). I do not feel that the study makes me job-ready.
I do not a lot about placements as I am not planning to take one from college. But the placement cell of the college is very active and many companies do come for placements. The people in palcement cell are very helpful.
The fee of courses is most in the Delhi university colleges and you have to pay a fee per semester rather than per year in other colleges. I would say worthy if you are coming here for the tag of being called "STEPHANIAN"
The campus life is amazing. Students are mostly engaged in society activities as there is one or the other event from any of the societies. The support staff in the administration department is a bit lazy. The location of the college is amazing it is attached to the main university campus and is just adjacent to Ridge. The students are very talented as only the best from the country to get admission into this prestigious college.
College is amazing and I usually go to college on Sundays also just to spend some time in college and enjoy the aura. The tradition of assembly for junior members ( first years ) is very good as it gives a great start to the day. You also get to speak or read a para from any of the holy scriptures and you get to know what important and interesting things are going to happen on that particular day. There are some restrictions which are senseless but can be managed.

Hello,
In order to be eligible for your admissions in St. Stephens College, DU, you have to fill the form that is available on St. Stephen's official website.
Once you have selected colleges as per your preferences from the online DU portal for MA Admissions, please go ahead and fill form separately from St. Stephen's Portal.
Although St. Stephens is affiliated with University of Delhi, however it follows a completely different procedure of admissions, which is why a candidate is required to fill the form separately.
I hope this helps
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you getting ST. Stephens with this much percentage is bit difficult as cutoff for general category is bit high as compared to other categories. You should try in some other colleges of D.U for admissions which takes this range of percentage.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
