TEC Tirunelveli B.Tech Admission Process:

• The selection procedure for general category students is based on marks obtained in Mathematics (100) and Physics + Chemistry (100) in the qualifying exam, with a total score of 200.

• To ensure fairness, marks from different education boards are normalised to match the scores of the Tamil Nadu State Board. 

• A merit list is prepared based on normalised scores, and ranks are assigned for general and community-wise categories.

• Specific seats are allocated for vocational stream candidates (100 seats in Category I and 4% of seats in Category II). Marks in the related subject and vocational subjects (including theory and practical) are reduced to 200 and considered for admission.

• Diploma holders in relevant branches and B.Sc. graduates who studied Core Mathematics at the degree level are eligible for lateral entry based on their marks.
